Remarks :

Sometimes the routine becomes too hectic.I want to change that.Like we have 4-5 classes regularly.We go to the classes at 9:30 and classes end at 3:30-4:30 sometimes early 2:30 but in the weekend we have classes for 6hours.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Course curriculum is very much up to date.It is equally research and industry oriented.Here we have 2 semester exams in every year.In each semester we have to give 2 intenrals submit the assignment and some teachers also ask us to give presentation on certain topics.

Placement Experience :

Some of my fellow seniors got selected in the chennai based companies last year.The packages are really good 5-6.5 lakhs annum.Also some of the seniors are doing projects in the eminent government institutions like ISRO.

College Events :

Alumni Meet is organised last year by our department and the name was "footprint" of that event. Freshers were organised by the seniors for welcoming us. Durga puja is celebrated by the people of west bengal. Pongal is celebrated here hugely. Holi will be celebrated soon. Onam,Football tournament,Cricket tournament, Health check up camp and blood donation camp were also organised.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Hostel fees 1000 per year Mess fees 65 per day College fees 43,000 per year it includes tution fees lab fees placement activities industrial training.But for each semester exam we have to pay exam fees according to the credit of the subjects.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Top thouree rank holders of each semester will get 2000,1500,1000 rupees per month for 5months.Also others who's annual income is less than 250000 and passed in all subjects successfully will get 750 per month.

Campus Life :

We have 3 good and big grounds also a basketball court a lawn tennis court.Out of 3 grounds two are football and cricket stadium.also sports department organised Cricket football tournament for both men and women.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel rooms are large.Good for two persons but we are thouree in each room.Also there is a mess for each boys and girls hostel.We go there for food.The provide us 3times food including tea in the afternoon.

External Expense : Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna :

Yes seniors are very helpful.they helped us a lot during admission procedure.They are f Very friendly.they organised freshers for us beautifully.Also alumni network is very large and it's growing year by year.

Admission :

I registered myself for thee entrance exam for the msc Computer Science course I'm Pondicherry University.After my graduation I prepared for the exams then I gave the exam.In the month of July result was declared and I got a good rank.Then I came here for to complete the admission procedure.

Faculty :

Some faculties are very good and higly qualified.Some PhD scholars also take classes in the absence of professors they share their experiences on the field of research work.Some professor always encourage us to do more projects to get experience by solving real life problems.

Placement Experience:

From the 3rd semester itself, students are eligible for placements. Companies like vkc pride, axis bank , icici bank , HDFC Bank etc comes. Some academic based institute like byju , unacademy they take students from online interviews. Ya nearly 70% students get placed. My plans are I want to pursue higher education. Thats why I am not going for a job .

My review

Remarks:

Overall rating of our university would be good as it is a central university. Job opportunities are also colourful here. The grade of teaching varies from department to department. But our department is awesome. The only problem here is mess food. You get bored having same food everyday although they try to accommodate a versatile menu throughout the week.

The college which is used to brighten our future with help our own hands

Remarks:

The college bus fees is higher because the college is situated at far from the city and took 45 mins from town to college, students are wish to join in this type of college, all students first preference is this type of college only.
