College of Hope

Remarks :

Pros are you ll get to compete on very high scale and you can even rate urself. Cons are that you get pissed up by the fines charges and the managements overwlehming. If you mistakenly break a glass or a branch of tree you ll be fined 10000 thousand for the same.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Classes and labs are not so hectic.About exam it's moderate one.just need to study properly.Teacher and faculties help you in every sort of situation even if you have a backlog they help you out to clear that backlog.

Placement Experience :

Not so good but you can get a job surely. No internship programs are there.College will assist you for placement and internship programs but the rate of companies visiting the college and placement is poor.

College Events :

Tech fest, annual function, freshers and farewell. And so on. There are many occasions in which the college and management organises events in which students from anywhere across india can participate and the can win exiting prizes and hampers.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

It's expensive a bit but on a moderate scale. You can pay the fees in installments and can also get scholarships if you are eligible.Friend of mine has got a scholarship and is getting all the facilities.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

No I didnt received any scholarship or loan facility as the college was underrated and my bank denied to provide loan. But some students recived loan facility thourough govt scheme and also scholarships.

Campus Life :

Cocirricular activities are good and materials for that are provided to us.Like if you want to play you get the playing stuffs. In laboratories the instruments are kept in good condition and are taken out only when required.

Hostel Facilities :

Hotels is good but he food provided us not up-to the mark. The quality of the food is very low and also the taste is pathetic.Boarding facility is good.24*7 electricity is provided with watercolors on every floor.

Alumni/Alumna :

Yes, alumni and seniors are very helpful the only factor is the partial discrimination between odia speaking and non odia speaking students. This is not a good sign for technical institution but non the less is good and best.

Admission :

Thourough OJEE Counselling I got admited in this college. Although I had decided to go for B. Tech but I was confused in selecting the specilasation so the admission faculty helped me out in selecting CSE as specilasation.

Faculty :

Faculties are good and very helping in nature.Provide all assistance required by the students on their course of subject.Kind hearted and nurturing. They are kind of oasis in a desert where you are all alone.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I had chosen this course because at that time I was keenly interested in Engineering drawings, architecture, construction as well as estimations and costing. Here the faculty-student ratio is approx 1:18. Almost 1/3rd of the faculty are permanent and have a doctorate and they are well experienced. Guest faculties are also from prestigious colleges holding masters and bachelors. Examinations were conducted regularly in class as well as there used to be 2 internals in a sem and one end sem exam. Questions were set by the BPUT and it was moderate to difficult level.

Placement Experience:

College claims to provide 100% placements to its students, Students from the 7th semester can sit in placements. Many big companies come to recruit on campus every year like Amazon, Dell, Accenture, Wipro, cognizant. The HIghest package was Rs 39lpa by amazon. Profiles like data analyst, software developer, coding, data scientists etc are offered by companies. I am planning to take up an IT sector job

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for placement from the 7th semester onwards. Companies like Ajatus, Byjus, Wipro , Infosys offer placement opportunities in our college. The placement rate has deteriorated over the past 5 years. Earlier 50 %-80%students were placed but now only 20%-30%are placed. Earlier the highest package was 10 LPA and the average package was 4LPA. Now the rate has decreased greatly. The college still tries its best to bring companies. Earlier the placements were more of on-campus placements but now it's mostly off campus. The training and placement cell hence prepares students for the recruitment process and selects the best students and gets them placed. After getting the degree I would be applying for interviews on the technical line off-campus and side by side I would do my higher studies like M.TECH.
