Good college but holidays are less.All sports, agriculture, music, dance, project exploration.importance giving to tamil by tamil mandram, socio eco club for doing social activities.Feasible for counseling students. Based on cut off mark fees are reduced. For different courses different fees structure, scolarships and loan are accpted. Because of first graduate and counseling fees in reduced. Everything is good

Course Curriculum Overview :

Courses are 6 subject per semester and every subject should need to learn.Exams are conducting here only and it was going good.exam are 3 internals and semesters exams. Conducted once in a month. Thats all.

Placement Experience :

Lot of companies are coming forward to conducting interview and job placement drive. Classes for placement, communication, verbal communication, quants classesand examination based on interview.

College Events :

Annual day Kalam inter college fest Onam celebration Pongal Hostel day Velaan thiruvizha Sports day Full entertainment and awards to participants. Prizes given for ranked in class. Prizes for 100% attendence.

Admission :

I got admission by counseling. (government quota) I am a first graduate student in my family. I took b.tech IT because of my own interest.first i had a idea to take CSE but i prefer IT than CSE.

Faculty :

More than 100 faculties are there. They teach well and the are a good advisors, tutors, teachers.they teaching is good and they are experienced well.we understood by asking doubts and more placement teaching classes are available.

Average college but a good place to study on your own

Placement Experience:

The campus placements start in the 7th semester. Due to the recession, there is a lot of backlash when it comes to placements. It has been quite poor for the last few years. But it depends on how the student is prepared for the competitive world.

Students who pursuing five and sixth semesters onwards are eligible to attend the placements and internship. Mostly the IT companies are visited frequently and core companies are low. Reality of Veltech

Placement Experience:

Placement is good for the CSE and IT departments. You can't expect placement if you belong to other departments, there is a placement for the other departments but very less. Campus placement starts in 3rd year itself. They have special classes for Aptitude skills and interview preparation GD and necessary preparations for job placement opportunities. 90% of students from CSE and IT get placed. The average package is 7.5 LPA you can expect a minimum of 3.5 LPA. If you are willing to go for higher studies you can contact the international relation office they have good relations with other universities abroad, they have students exchange programs, research scholarships etc if you are not planning to seat in placement. I plan for higher studies and research after my Btech.

Best place ever visited. My Sweet College.

Placement Experience:

The placements in my college is very good and top companies hire students across every branch with a good amount of package. At the end of 3rd year every student is elegible for the placements in college. About 20 to 25 companies visited for campus hiring and approximately 700 offers were given across the college from every branch. 60 percentage of students got placed in the campus hiring program. Highest package is 24 LPA and the aveyis 5LPA. My plan is to get into a good MNC company which is related to Aerospace technology.
