Gokhale : where you can rediscover yourself

Remarks :

Not very rigours, therefore you have to be self motivated to do well. They give you alot of freedom and you have to be responsible for your own growth. Since it's at the postgraduate level they don't spoonfed you with makes students independent and prepares them for life ahead.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course structure is quite basic with some challenging courses. The course you a basic background and you're welcomed to explore further based on you interests. Professors are approachable and very helpful. The. Examination structure has teo parts - midterms and finals. There are thouree midterms per semester and your scores from the best two are picked. The finals is worth 60 marks. We have a gpa system in college.

There is an annual economics fest, TEDX event, quizzing events, conferences and everyone is welcomed to participate.

Very feasible. It's quite affordable and much cheaper than an mba for simlar job profiles. There are financial assistance programs in college that can help you if the fees are too much. Definitely worth considering applying for

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

There are financial assistance programs for mertious or needy students facilitated by the college.

Campus Life :

Sports, computer labs, policy discussion groups, newsletter, dance, music, trekking societies.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel is pretty good. The area is very expensive and it'll be difficult to find lodging and food at the same price. So it's beter to live in the campus hostel.

Alumni/Alumna :

Yes, there is a very active alumni network. They organise networking events all thourough the college year.

Admission :

It's a reputed college in the top tier. It had excellent reserch and industry opportunities. It's a simple aptitude test with 100 questions covering economics, logic and basic math. You can go thourough the past papers to get an idea about the examination pattern. The course is quite competitive here with thousands of applicants.

Faculty :

All the facilities on campus have a PhD or are extremely experienced members of the industry. Some courses have more in house faculty as compared to others. Industry specialists are invited as visiting faculty to teach and are also very good

Course Curriculum Overview:

That course gave me a good career option. I got job in a private school with a better salary but in IT section it is difficult to get a job by this course because it is not a technical educational course that's why I rated only 5 for this course.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I personally liked the subject I chose for my post-graduation studies. The teachers prepare us for the exam in class itself. They cover the syllabus and take our practice of the exam and gaining knowledge. The timing of the exam is a little issue in our college. The college provides us with only 2 hours 30 minuutes timing for 60 marks theory exam.

Placement Experience:

By the end of sem3 itself, the postgraduates are deployed into interviews for certain internships. But if you are with good academic scores and knowledge you can even get directly placed. Every individual is given 3 chances by the college to get and crack the interview but if the student is not able to then he is guided to where to apply but mostly ICRI makes sure everyone is placed as the college proudly stays with its 100% placement tag line. As I told here there are varied background people here with different needs of roles, the highest package I have seen getting is 15L pa to the lowest of 3L pa which even depends upon the company to your broad spectrum of knowledge. To specify which companies come here for recruitment are sun pharma, Cipla, and many more there are all 20+ companies that come and hire the intellectuals. To specify about me I am planning to get a CRC post as a start for CRA in the future.

Remarks:

The college management is very approachable and helpful. We have an email-based network for direct referring of our grievances. The college lacks in only one thing and, that is, proper recognition amongst the masses. The reason might be because it's not a technical one and it's also young and only 13 years old.

Remarks:

The college aims to provide students the opportunity to visit diverse countries and campuses. The objective of this effort is to provide students an opening to gain real life exposure to the cultural, social, industrial, educational & historical aspects of each other’s countries. I would recommend this college to everyone.
