Our college is overall a very nice place and the environment there is very family-supporting There are no bias rules as there is a diversity in the management.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course and curriculum are based on the rules and regulations provided by Mumbai University. Mumbai University sets the academic portion and thus the college has to follow it. The course has a lot of extracurricular activities which help to develop one's personality. The extracurricular activities include industrial visits, quizzes, interstate quizzes, etc.
Placement Experience :
The placement is provided in various high-end companies like Morgan Stanley, ICICI Bank, IKEA, etc. The institutions hold various talk sessions on the various companies and the employee of each company comes to speak about why their company is the best. They also prepare us for interviews and help keep us up to date with all the happenings in the market.
College Events :
Fests like Mosaic, Jhankar, Olio, etc are the fests held in our college. Mosacic is one of the latest fests of our college and it's been successfully carried out for the oast 2 years. All activities from dance, music, poetry, baking, painting to film making have all been involved in this fest, and students from various colleges have participated in the fest.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
The fees of self-financed courses are 18,000 per year and the Bcom Ba section is aided and thus 6000 per year. There is online payment done for the fees by a server called Indeed.com. There is a complete breakdown available of the fee structure and all the courses are provided with different free structures.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I have got a scholarship from the college for the highest marks in a subject and also a government scholarship for minorities.
Campus Life :
My college is very known for its excellence in sports. Football, basketball, hockey in both girls and boys teams are available. There are multiple tournaments in which we participate and receive a lot of trophies. There is a lot of gender equality provided in our college as there are more girls compared to boys. The debate team is also very well known because of their achievements.
Hostel Facilities :
No, I do not stay in a hostel as I live not very far from the college premises. There is no hostel facility for our college but there are many hostels near and around the college as well as many students live on a rent basis.
Alumni/Alumna :
Senior students are always looked up to for any kind of academic or extracurricular activities. They are very helpful and understanding and help us in a lot of ways.
Admission :
I selected this college Because it is one of the most reputed colleges in Bandra. I selected BCOM as a course because it covered up a wider base as compared to self-financed courses. The college has a good faculty and is a reputed organization with good management thus I went forward to apply to this college.
Faculty :
The faculty is strict and very knowledgeable. They test our knowledge and challenge us to come forward with our ideas and put our knowledge into practice. They also provide us with certified courses which help one while working. They prepare us for the working world and guide us towards our goals with proper counseling.
