Remarks :

Positive: Good college with a lot of freedom, free health checkups, Access to lakhs of books in central library and we'll experienced faculty Negative: Less placement rate

Course Curriculum Overview :

PharmD is a great clinical course in terms of course content, it is nearly the same as MBBS course content except depth anatomical knowledge and surgical exposure. It is a successful course in abroad but not in India due to domination of doctors

Placement Experience :

Yes, our college PharmD students will need to do internship in KGH for 1 year as a part of our course curriculum. Unfortunately there are very less opportunities as Clinical Pharmacist and the placements are also very less for pharmD students and No stipend will be given

College Events :

Department days celebrated every year which includes a competition in variety of games, encouragement for Academic toppers and extracting various skills of students in all manners like Elocution, Drawing, Dumcharades, Singing etc

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Expensive 68000 per year and nearly need to spend a minimum of 1 lakh rupees a year for this course despite of very less opportunities and less placement rate with less packages. In terms of employment opportunities, it is rather easy to pursue B.Pharm(4 years) than PharmD(6 years)

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Fees Reimbursement by Government of Andhoura Pradesh based on our Financial status and EAMCET counseling admission and they also offer Mess fee for Reservation candidates and for OC students, they only offer Tuition fee

Campus Life :

All the facilities are good with 2 Gymnasium and sports department is there and NCC, NSS are also available and also the students will get free health checkups in University for minor ailments and with free medication

Hostel Facilities :

Avg rental for hostel is in between 2500-3000 a month and it is a university managed hostel and it is good for poor students with good food and accommodation and we can have various options other than this also

Alumni/Alumna :

Obviously the path taken by our seniors will be a way for us to decide a career and their views and experience will enable us to choose a great career and they also helpful in placement assistance.

Admission :

Thourough EAMCET counseling and Course in the University campus made me to select this and afterwards there is lot of freedom in the University and one can learn anything based on our interest as all resources will be infront of us like Central library which contains ample books of all types of subjects

Faculty :

Finely qualified and with a lot of experience in guiding the students. They had a great reputation all over India and always busy in research works, guiding students and they are the motivators and their lectures are awesome

Placement Experience:

You are eligible for campus placements Only after the successful completion of the mandatory internship. As it is a clinically oriented course we need to try it in hospitals first. Pharmacovigilance- 5 to 7 LPA Clinical research- 4 LPA CLINICAL PHARMACIST- 3 to 5 LPA Only around 20 % of students get placement in MNC'S. You can start your clinical pharmacy practice or go for higher education I'm planning to start clinical pharmacy services.

Placement Experience:

Students in the mid of the 6th year were eligible to attend campus interviews. Companies such as clinical solutions, Banglore; Episource, Chennai; Medi Assist, Banglore; Sri Raetna Solutions, Banglore; Excelra, Vijayawada; have visited this academic year. Each student will have a minimum of 1 offer and a maximum of 3 offers in hand. The highest package is 3 LPA and the average package is 2.4 LPA for jr. Clinical data associate & Jr. medical coder respectively. 100% of students were placed. After getting my degree I would like to join a campus placement job at Episource, Chennai for the Jr. Medical coder position.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because of my interest in clinical practice and to get better knowledge about drugs. The faculty and student have good interactions, we have a minimum experience of 2 years in PharmD and m.pharmacy as our faculty. They teach us nicely and after completion of the class, there will be a review of the topics by asking questions and repeating the main summary of the topic again. We have term exams every year only once. It was very difficult to pass the exams, if we don't have minimum average marks in mids, it will be very tough to pass the term exams.
