Remarks :

College life was so good it always brings smile on my face only thing which i will suggest my college management is try to bring some much companies for placement.

Entrance Preview :

I have chose this college under anna university counselling and the reason i chose this college because of its reputed name in its own way in education and a place among other colleges.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Courses they offer were similiar to what anna university syllabe says, they offer some majors like other colleges does.

Internships Opportunities :

I have gone through a company which associate to my major is mechanical engineering and i ve got a company named AVO Carbon pvt ltd through my college. Internship here went for a month and me with my one of my friend had learned practically about how production is going on, quality standards they provide, administration and most importantly industry culture and its environment.

Placement Experience :

In my college this year was so bad there were not much companies have visited. I remember only Tech mahindra and MRF were the companies they visited us and they selected just few through requirement process. If i were asked to write about giving suggestion to my management, my answer would be asking my college to bring companies as possible to meet the number of students across all majors.

College Events :

When it comes to technical festival, first comes to every engineering student mind is symposium techinal symposium will be held on always odd semester in my college. They conduct various symposium between majors and cultural oh yeah! Its ENGENIA, thats how we have named it. It helps to relax from our technical education side for sometime to concentrate on our individual talent over arts.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I am really sorry for not giving detailed answer in this part because i never availed any scholarships since this is christian minorty institution (my college), christians has much offers in scholarships than general students.

Campus Life :

When it comes to other departments, ratio is like boys: :girls :: 1: 2 but in the case of mechanical i.e. my major has only one girl to the whole 140 students. We dont see any mucb difference other than this when comparing other departments race what is that i never felt anything like that in my whole four years in college.

Hostel Facilities :

I am a day scholar but still having some reasonable knowledge over hostels and mess food through my friends and went through this once or twice so i can simply give rates as follows hostel - 8/10 mess food - 10/10 they provide with such quantity and importantly good quality.

Alumni/Alumna :

My seniors were awesome and whenever its competition between other major departments, they were so supportive at all the time.

Faculty :

The faculty here were highly qualified with much experience and achievement in their respective field. Some faculty holds doctorate which helps us to understand our majors in particular very deeply and easily understandable.

Placement Experience:

The campus placements start in the 7th semester. Due to the recession, there is a lot of backlash when it comes to placements. It has been quite poor for the last few years. But it depends on how the student is prepared for the competitive world.

Placement Experience:

Placement is good for the CSE and IT departments. You can't expect placement if you belong to other departments, there is a placement for the other departments but very less. Campus placement starts in 3rd year itself. They have special classes for Aptitude skills and interview preparation GD and necessary preparations for job placement opportunities. 90% of students from CSE and IT get placed. The average package is 7.5 LPA you can expect a minimum of 3.5 LPA. If you are willing to go for higher studies you can contact the international relation office they have good relations with other universities abroad, they have students exchange programs, research scholarships etc if you are not planning to seat in placement. I plan for higher studies and research after my Btech.

Placement Experience:

The placements in my college is very good and top companies hire students across every branch with a good amount of package. At the end of 3rd year every student is elegible for the placements in college. About 20 to 25 companies visited for campus hiring and approximately 700 offers were given across the college from every branch. 60 percentage of students got placed in the campus hiring program. Highest package is 24 LPA and the aveyis 5LPA. My plan is to get into a good MNC company which is related to Aerospace technology.
