Remarks :

Well, the college isn't supported by the management in almost every program. But the teachers and faculty are very supportive and helpful in conducting several programs and activities in the college.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum is fine. There are 6 semesters that will be a duration of 3 years. The internal examinations will be held a month before the external examinations. The internal examinations will require minimum of 6 marks and total of 36 marks in externals.

Placement Experience :

No, but a final year is backed by a project and the student is required to submit a final report on the internship he/she has done. This can be in either of these sectors, financial, operational or services.

College Events :

College day and Sports day are the two celebrated fests in the college. There maybe some celebrations under certain departments such as Business Administration and Bachelor in English Literature. The celebrations are few but well worthy.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

It's feasible. And the fee structure totally dependent on the course type. The science courses requires a bit more than other courses due to the use of laboratories and other facilities provided in the college.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

There are no scholarships provided by the college but the college do provide the discounts on the members of the Sree Narayana Guru committee. This can be acquired if you're a follower of a Hindu religion and is an Ezhava caste.

Campus Life :

There are barely any extra curricular activities in the college. But the educational side of the institution is very delicate and faculty is very dedicated and hardworking and supportive in every matter.

Hostel Facilities :

No. I am a day scholar and I live in my own house. There are no hostel facilities provided by the college not there are any hostels nearby. This is not really an issue as there are barely anyone who is coming from far away places.

External Expense : Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna :

I haven't seen or heard any such workings of the alumni members of the college. But we can assure that they can be of help if there are alumni meetings and associations created to help them and the college to share the success line.

Admission :

Signed up thourough MGU Portal. And the prospective colleges will be listed and should be registered. Laster the college will issue their allotment list and then you can proceed to the further admission procedures.

Faculty :

The faculty is well qualified and very dedicated to their respective subjects. The college may not offer many art programs but the educational side of the college and their facilities is well experienced and qualified.

To be honest, I felt out syllabus is outdated. The all business practices we study is very old. Only a few of them are applied in today's world. So our syllabus needs a big change. The teaching methods are very active though.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements as soon as 5th semester starts.The college also keeps any external faculty for ensuring that students are capable enough to pass the aptitude test of the companies. It is part of 5th sem as a non credit course to learn aptitude and pass the exam of aptitude, to pass 5th sem. To be eligible for placements you need to have above 60% together in all of the previous semesters,All big 4 companies come here for placements and the salary package is also good considering freshers, the average is 3 lakh per annum.Other companies include Federal Bank, Godrej etc. The placementcell of Marian College Kuttikkanam is very good.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Bba is a better course in today's world. Because of its relevance. It's more extroverted kind course. The communication skills have the prior in business. Our curriculum and course provide so many things to master the business skills. We have the seminars which should be taken by students to improve our communication skills. We got Industrial Visits to know more about business world. Our curriculum is kinda bit outdated though. Business world is changing day by day. But our syllabus is not. So we have a bit crisis. The exams are a bit early. So we face the difficulty to prepare better.

Placement Experience:

Yes , placements are there. Companies like easy link , Accenta etc are there. The highest package was 3 lakh per aanum and average was 2 lakh per aanum. Most of them choose higher studies like MBA so only a few percentage appears for placement. My plan is to get a law degree and to be a corporate lawyer.
