G.H.Raisoni, Nagpur

Remarks :

Negative- The syllabus needs to update. The college must look at what new in the market and prepare students accordingly. The academics do makes the base strong but not being aware about latest softwares and languages, students face a problem in placements.

Course Curriculum Overview :

4 year course, 8 Semesters. The exam is held regularly in form of class test called CAE, while other activities comes under TAE, which is an important part of the grade structure. Apart from this term exam is held ever 6 months. And a 2 weeks internship (mini internship) and 6 months internship is mandatory. 6 months internship is held either in 7th or 8th sem according to branch.

Placement Experience :

Job opportunities are good. Placements records are high and maintained by the college. As said earlier, the internship is a mandatory part of the academics. I got internship in Byjus- think and learn, Bangalore and used to get 20k stripend.

College Events :

Annual functions. Annual functions. Annual functions. Annual functions. Annual functions. Annual functions. Annual functions. Annual functions. Annual functions. Annual functions. Annual functions. Annual functions.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

College fee for engineering was around a lakh rupees for a year and hostle fee was seventy thousand per year. Minorities and other class of people had a different fee structure. The fee could be paid either by cheque,DD, NEFT, etc.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Not aware about this. Not aware about this. Not aware about this. Not aware about this. Not aware about this. Not aware about this. Not aware about this. Not aware about this. Not aware about this. Not aware about this. Not aware about this. Not aware about this.

Campus Life :

College has multiple labs including computer lab (CCC lab), a lab for Carrying out civil related practicals and mechanical practicals and a workshop too. Extra curricular activities included out door sport (tug of war, football, cricket- both male and female), indoor sports (carrom, box cricket, table tennis), dancing competition, debate and group discussion, etc.

Hostel Facilities :

Boys hostle was quite near to the college, and fee was 70k per year. The hostle rooms had capacity of 3 students and 3 cupboard, 3 tables and chairs, 3 bed cot, bed, pillow and covers were provided by the college. Apart from this a cooler was provided by the college during summers after depositing 3k.

Alumni/Alumna :

College seniors were always helpful to me. Let it be academics or extra curricular activities. Mainly during exams they used to help a lot, and during their placements they used to share the experience of interviews and group discussion and what all mistakes they made, which helped us to not make the same mistakes which they made.

Admission :

I gave MHCET, and after the result, i filled my preference form. Since my marks were sufficient for this college and the branch i wanted, i was allotted this college in first round of counselling. I chose computer science as concepts were easier to understand and the scope of job is wide in India or out of the country too.

Faculty :

Faculty are quite understanding and helpful. They understand that students do need some extra curriculum activities in combination with studies. The concepts are explained clearly and faculty do help for getting placements.

Students from the 7th semester onwards are eligible for campus placements. Core Biomedical companies like GE, Medtronics, biosense etc and IT companies like TCS, JIO, INFOSYS, CAPGEMINI etc Recruit Biomedical Engineers. Most Biomedical Students prefer Masters over placements. 80 percent of students from selected candidates get placed. I will go for Placements and I will get into post graduation after clearing GATE 2023.

Remarks:

Location is most likely a factor for me. It is closed to my home. And the another factor is that, Different colleges offer different programs with their curriculum. For example, as an Engineering student, I had a set of classes that I was required to take, with little deviation apart from electives.

Placement Experience:

I haven't experienced placements yet. but yes the deserving students get internship every year. The whole staff of this college is very nice.
