Remarks :
Overall, the college management is great. I, till date, had no issues with the college.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The curriculum of the course is more theoretical and less practical. The schedule of classes are hectic in the second year of graduation. The exams are varying from easy to difficult. Practical exams are easy and they just include what you had already done.
Placement Experience :
Since there are no placements for science students, I have no knowledge about the placements. At times, I have heard about companies coming but I can't recall any of the names.
College Events :
Our college has different societies. Each society have their events occasionally during the year in which any student can take part. The annual fest of the college is held in February. During the fest, a lot of activities and events take place in the different societies and departments of the college. At the last day of the fest, a star performance is also held which can be attended by any college student.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
The fee structure of the college is quite expensive as compared to other Delhi University colleges. The mode of payment is thorough online payments only. The fee breakdown,which is quite long, is clearly mentioned in the college brochure provided at the time of the admission.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I didn't opted for any scholarship or education loan. The college does offer scholarship to the top students. The college also offers some relief in the fees to a economically weak sections.
Campus Life :
The gender ratio in the college is almost equal. Various types of workshops are also held in the college. There are also different cultural socities such as Etram(dance society), Ankur(theatre society), Strokes(art society), Debates and discussion society, Conferno, Swarang(music society) and bhangra society.
Hostel Facilities :
I haven't opted for hostel as I am a Delhiite and the college doesn't provide hostel facility for Delhiites. The hostel rooms are on sharing basis and no one expect the hostlers are allowed inside the hostel. The rules of the hostel are very strict.
Alumni/Alumna :
Our seniors are the best. They helped us at every stage. They provide good guidance. They also help us in the academics with notes and previous year question papers.
Admission :
To get admission in this college is similar to any of the Delhi University Colleges. You just fill the admission form on the official website of Delhi University, which comes around in the month of May. Then if you meet the cut off criteria of this college you can go to the college and fill the admission form of the college.
Faculty :
The lecturers are highly qualified. Our department has 11 lecturers. Each lecturer has their own area of expertise. The lecturers are very friendly and helpful. Most of the lecturers are very good at explaining concepts to the students. They teach in such a way that when you study the topic again it seems you know it very well and you are just revising it.
