Remarks :
My college is the best college I ever seen. Teachers and students have coordination. I am glad that I studied in Post graduate government college for girls, Sector 11 Chandigarh. I want to be one of them who gave services to our nation.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course structure with a focus on research is very good. The exams held in October. They are house test. With the help of these house tests assessment send to university by our college teachers. Final exams are in the month of December. These are taken by Panjab university, Chandigarh. Again house tests are in march for next semester and final exams are in the month of may.
Placement Experience :
Approximately 120 students of my college give their services to our country every year. My college didn't provide internship. There are many job opportunities after completion of studies.120 Students serve to our country every year.
College Events :
There are many events held in my college. Green house made under RUSA scheme. 2 National service scheme (NSS) camps held in our college every year. Talent hunt takes place every year in which students present their talent.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
Fee structure of the college is according to course. First semester fees was nearly around 15000 and second semester fees was nearly around 14000. Third semester fees was 14000. Examination fees is 1000 and practical subject fees is 700.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
There are many scholarships given by the college to extra ordinary students. Out of these scholarships Kirpal Singh Chauli Trust Scholarship is the main scholarship of our college. This scholarship is given by a trust with a sum of 10000 rs.
Campus Life :
My college have labs of chemistry, physics, biology, botany, BCA, Functional English, etc. Sports are held in my college. Physical education lab is also in my college. Students play on national levels and win medals on state and national levels.
Hostel Facilities :
Yes, I opted for hostel. Hostel infrastructure is very good. Great building and a yard in it. Many trees planted inner and outer side of hostel. Small plants grew in the pure air like Tulsi, Aloevera.
Alumni/Alumna :
Alumni network and senior students are so helpful. They help in career counselling. Senior students are very helpful as they are like our big sisters. They cured us like her sister. They took care of us in many ways.
Admission :
I got 92.4 percent marks in 12th class. I am good in studies. My sister is in government college Jind. A teacher of his college told me about PGGCG 11 Chandigarh. I went there and find the college excellent. Thus, I took admission in PGGCG 11 Chandigarh. I went to Chandigarh. I filled the form online.
Faculty :
College faculty is very good. I am thankful to my college staff. They are so qualified. My college is the best college of Chandigarh just because of college staff. College faculty is so cooperative that helps every student.
