Remarks :
In conclusion the college is really good and gives an opportunity to express your ideas and present yourself.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Curriculum is really good as compared to other universities and has been appreciated by NAAC. But the university still lack in its reasearch opportunities even though most of the faculty members hold PhD in their respective teaching fields. Besides this the university is continuously hiring for better faculty members and growing its research opportunities.
Placement Experience :
Average and centered towards BTech Computer Science programs. Other branches and non engineering courses do not get much attention in regards to placements.
College Events :
There's multiple festivals, events and conferences every month happening all around the campus. Various events always take place in the student hostel as well as the university campus. The events range from cultural festivals to blood donation camp. All the students take part and volunteer for an overall experience.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
Feasible, most of the tuition fees for programs is justified and increases every year with 5%. University also offers various scholarships for students and the residents near the university. Besides this you have an option to avail for an education loan from various banks.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Scholarship application is easy and available for every course. University offers atleast 3 students of every course Scholarship ranging from 25% to 100% of their tuition fees. Details are available on the university website.
Campus Life :
Campus life is very happening, gender ratio is 4:1 B:G. Extracurricular and labs are really state of the art and continuously updated for the use of Students. University has multiple sports competition for various sports such as cricket, football, basketball, table tennis etc
Hostel Facilities :
No, i live in a pg which has a rent of around 4750 excluding the electricity bill. Utilities available are very basic. I have a room to myself, seperate washroom, wardrobe, air-cooler, geyser and a RO for water.
Alumni/Alumna :
Alumni network isn't that strong yet. However some of them are really helpful. There is a portal using which you can find alums from your course or any other then get in touch. But it is not that effective.
Admission :
I applied through the online application form and got selected via the merit list. It was a direct admission. Although the process differs from program to program but you have to either apply online or visit the university. They also have an entrance test and interview process for various competitive programs.
Faculty :
The faculty members are helpful and appreciative. They have always been fair but some are relatively strict than others. Some are really cool and will let you do whatever. you'll have to pick and choose when you want someone to mentor you for a project or a research paper. But really good guidance is there.
