Remarks :
The best developing young University according to me. The way the quality of placements are increasing and the new ways of teaching and exams are being conducted. It is a university which actually invests for the betterment of the students.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is quite good and satisfactory and the best part is how the college not only develops the education but also the activities that result in the overall development. The exam pattern is good and is such that one has to study all year round to maintain a good Average, studying one day before the exams won't help here. The concept of relative grading is followed here.
Placement Experience :
The placement and job opportunities are great, it is a young university of just 8 years old and still placements go as high as 27 28 lakhs which I don't think is a small amount in the current market and job scenario. The coding culture is good and in the final year, most of the students get jobs and everyone is provided with an internship in the 8th semester arranged by the college if we aren't able to do so by ourselves. The college takes a lot of trouble to truly make the students job ready.
College Events :
There are events all round the year and the main college fests are techideit, abhivarta, elicit and oneriors. The biggest of them is oneriors which is actually very very big and in each of these fests, one or the other celebrities definitely come and there are other small fests round the year.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
It is expensive since it is a private college but in the end it's worth it since the college invests money in every sector for the betterment of the student's life at Manipal University Jaipur and one can definitely be here.
Fees and Financial Aid :
No,I couldn't get any kind of sponsorship here at Manipal university Jaipur. There are scholarships here for students in every sector and the college spends crores of rupees just for the scholarship of students.
Campus Life :
The labs are one of the best in the country I suppose like the instruments are up to date and there is nothing that can be complained about. There is again ample amount of attention given to sports, just yesterday an international meeting of sports was held in the college. The gender ratio is 1:2 Which is better than most of the collges. There is student diversity and there are students from all over India, east west south north, everywhere and the economic status of students here are quite good and the tolerance with regards to all the topics mentioned are quite high.
Hostel Facilities :
The hostel rooms are great and it's one of the rare hostels where the maximum sharing is two, whereas in VIT hostels there is sharing upto 8 people which i don't think is good. Everything is class apart,we have dominos, ccd inside hostel campus and a lot of other shops and I think nothing can better than this.
Alumni/Alumna :
The alumni network is very strong,we have famous people like Satya Nadella and Vinod Khanna which we count in the Manipal Group alumnus. The seniors here are very good and ever ready to help,be it personal or professional. The best part is there is no Ragging and the seniors make us feel ease and make us feel at home, away from home.
Admission :
I got admission in this college by giving the MET which is the Manipal Entrance Test and covers all the three branches of Manipal in Indian, Sikkim, Jaipur and the third in South, the test comprises of 200 question comprising of 800 marks,+4 for each correct and -1 for negative, once we've scored, then we get the ranks according to scores, and then the counseling process begins and we're alloted the colleges according to preference and rank. I got CS Manipal Jaipur with a rank of 4890.
Faculty :
More than 50% of the faculty here are PhD and they are kind enough to clear all our doubts and are always eager to teach us new things and look after our betterment. There are a group of students alloted to each faculty not only for academics but for any problems we are facing away from home. They are called TEACHER Guardian.
