Remarks :
College management could've done better with the extra curricular activities provided a hood campus atmosphere like a canteen fields and courts for sports activities and should encourage cultural activities.
Entrance Preview :
I took Comedk. For management seats in Karnataka. I got 13,000 rank and got options to select dental seats in various college across Karnataka. Happened to choose hassan.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Course curriculum might be a little tough. But as you go on you'll get adapted and get attached to the subject.
Internships Opportunities :
General stripe end for internship is 12000. For one year if internship. Companies as such don't come to dental and medical college. We can also choose to do our internship in some other college for which we'll have to give the college a compensation fee.
Placement Experience :
Job opportunities are ample. But night take time to click as dental doctor. Because going MDS post graduate degree of BDS is the trend now and with loads of pgs out people generally prefer a MDS doctor to a BDS one.
College Events :
College doesn't conduct much functions except the graduation function. The students should take initiate and various programmes like onam,diwali,Christmas,holi celebration and the grand annual college fest are generally conducted over the years.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
My fees structure was 2.5 lakhs a year but this year the fees has been hiked to almost 3 per year. Comedk management seat fees are expected to rise every year.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
No. I don't avail loan facility from the college. I've applied for loan from a private bank but from the college I don't know about such a thing.
Campus Life :
This isn't a cultural,arts,science or engineering college. This is a purrly professional college meant to carve out dentists out of students. The campus atmosphere there actually isn't much of a campus is generally is studious one. The campus resembles your local CBSE school. It lacks a proper ground,fields,canteen and other leisure and fun places.
Hostel Facilities :
Mess food is ok. While living away from home tasty food that satisfies you is a luxury. Yet the food is ok and easily adaptable to.
Alumni/Alumna :
They're very helpful and since the number of students are very less. Like every batch contains 40 students. So these people are a closely knit group that stays together with any thing and everything.
Exam Structure :
University exams occur every year. While internal exam are held 3 times every year. It isn't much hectic if you keep up to date your studies and don't keep your work pending.
Faculty :
The faculty are of high quality with loads of first hand experience.
