College journey

Remarks :

management is fine, no complaint about that. I just joined this college bcoz I wanted to go for higher studies so my focus more on good college after my graduation & save on my graduation.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I would rate IPU university ZERO for extra curriculum as many IPU colleges don't even have a ground or proper auditorium. My college campus was way too small, just 2 vertical building & you just have 10-12 benches to chill in the campus you cant chill with your friends in the campus

Placement Experience :

placements were okay okay, don't expect much. almost everyone was placed in BPO (amazon, Mahindra, BT ) JARO offered for sales & took 7-8 students from the entire college

College Events :

the only good thing about college was its fest & freshers freshers were organised in TAJ VIVANTA & fest which was named 'FIESTA' was held in the talkative stadium. The farewell was okay as the venue was way small then the students turned up there. fest time is enjoyable & they call a famous singer to perform. Guru Randhawa & Hardy Sandhu performed at my time.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

fees were low as compared to private institutes, as they charged around 85k per year which was a great advantage as you can have a degree with low spending. you just need to pay your fees before the commencement of the year & fees can be paid online, so you don't need to go college for heft paperwork

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

no scholarship provided by the college, not even on the merit terms. as fees were also low, so can't expect much for more rebate.

Campus Life :

campus life depends on your friend circle, as I already mentioned that they don't possess any ground, just 2 building & 10-12 benches, so you can enjoy if you have a good circle, otherwise a jail for you. I was an outside Delhi student, so I was renting a flat near my college, some & my friends spent or maximum college time there only, no tension of attendance. they gonna try & may irritate you on giving admit card but they will give everyone.

Alumni/Alumna :

zero alumni network, haven't heard or met any senior or ever heard about alumni meet. plus no network with senior, no platform where we can communicate or connect

Admission :

first, you need to fill university form so that you can appear for CET exam that is held every year in the month of April end it is a general aptitude test, the difficulty level is low & a good student can easily score more than 300 out of 500 then after your results, you need to fill preference for various colleges & then colleges will declare 3 cutoffs & you can join accordingly

Faculty :

they have very less full-time faculty & most of them are just waste. Too much ego in almost every teacher especially the older faculty. some teachers were good, they not only cover the academic syllabus but also acknowledge the various practical knowledge as well. Stock market & digital marketing include some of them. but maximum faculty were just focused on placements & demotivates for higher studies

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester the students became eligible for the placement but because average placement of my college is not so good, most of the students don't wait for the college placement. My plan after getting the degree is to study other professional courses in Commerce field.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In my course, bcom (prog), there are few subjects which helps in real world applications such as income tax, gst, accounting, etc which could also help in our future academic pursuits. The difficulty level is not much high if you are well prepared then the exams are easy.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for sitting in Campus placements after completion of Sem 4 exams & can join after graduating. Average package: 7.4 LPA (approx) Highest package: 21 LPA (approx) as per Placement Cell data. Companies such as Deloitte, Wipro, EY, KPMG, Crowe, Morgan Stanley, De shaw & Co, Walmart, PWC, Accenture, Mother Dairy etc took place in the most recent placement drive of our college. If no campus placement is offered, one can go for off campus placements and approach people and companies through LinkedIn. They may also go for Higher Education such as MCom, MBA or any professional courses such as CA, CPA, CFA, FRM etc. I feel Placement Cell of Ramjas College puts its best foot forward in order to bring the best companies on campus, assisting students throughout the process, and smooth onboarding in companies. The efforts of each and every member of the cell are commendable.

Placement Experience:

the placement scenarios starts in the 5th semester. many MNCs visit the college and the most placed students are from b.com and b.com honours. I don't know about the other courses but I don't think they get many opportunities in college placement. average placement for b.com and BCom is around 5 lakh. the highest package ever offered was around 20 lakh as mentioned in college website.

Actually, our college starts campus as a 2nd-year student. And most of the best part of campus is that every student is selected individually for performance and report. If a student is able to clear the campus requirement he or she will be easily selected and his carrier start making
