Course Curriculum Overview :
There will be approximately 6 subjects and 3 labs in each semester. Labs organized help us in giving a practical feel of it. As in labs we have the prototype models of big equipments. So when we step out we have the knowledge of machinery as we have operated the model of it the prototype in our lab. And during the 1 st year and 2 nd year we have the professional communication and Soft skills,Employability lab these labs enhance to nurture our skills which will be very helpful and give us a exposure on how to handle placements and how to hand problems in life
Placement Experience :
Infosys,Delloite,Microsoft,IBM,Justdial,Byjus,Jaros,Godrej,Micron,Oracle,Cognizant and many marketing companies and few pharma companies. In many placement drives the first round is aptitude test which is a online test. The second round is a group discussion round. So the filtering of candidates is done in these 2 rounds. Next round is the technical interview followed by HR interview. The tentative percentage of students places is around 60% to 70%. The Institution did not take any special steps to prepare students for placements.
College Events :
There are 2 events organised every year in college One is the technical fest-Sudhee The other one is Cultural fest-Shruthi Franly speaking techincal fest goes on quite uninterstingly many students would not show interst in technical fest. This fest is for 2 days Coming to the cultural fest which is for 3 days many people show activr interest in it. In the cultural fest we have the cultural day,sports evening,dj night,dandiya event and many singing,dancing and skits being organized its really super fun
Fee Structure And Facilities :
120000 Mode of payment is through 1)Demand draft 2)Taking a challan in fee counters and paying the money in ICICI bank which is in college premises. 3)Cbit portal using student login we can pay through debit card,credit card,Internet bankinh through a ICICI portal page 4)Transfer amount to a virtual account provided by college through RTGS/NEFT Yes the college provides tranparency they clear mention the misceleneous fee.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
If we get a rank less than 10000 in Eamcet and if we provide income certificate we will be getting entire scholarship. I did not avail any scholarship
Campus Life :
Campus life is good and quite professional. Gender ratio it depends on varous branches. Yes sports there will be a wide range of sports organised all branches will be participating. Each branch has various teams in cricket,football,basketball,throwball,kabaddi and many other sports which branch(section)gets the highest points they are winners.They will get an award on the annual day. There are dedicated clubs for robotics and debates
Hostel Facilities :
No I am a day scholar My friends stay in hostels There are 2 hostels 1 hostel for boys of Mgit,Cbit And the other one for girls of Mgit and Cbit. The fee structure of the hostel is Rs 55000/- per year. And there are many private hostels near college in Gandipet,Narsingi the cost being Rs 4000 to Rs 5000/- per month. There is no problem with few hostel seats such scarcity would not arise at all. And coming to taking a room or PG the cost for room rental is about Rs6000 to Rs 7000 per month if 4 people share it comes about to be Approx Rs 1800/-
Alumni/Alumna :
As of now I have a few of my seniors who are in contact. They share their experiences which is quite helpful. Alumni network as of now its not there. Once when I was in 3 rd year i had to join gate coaching so to know which institution is best I enquired with my senior he gave a suggestion about it and the process innvolved to join the coaching institute.
Admission :
I was passionate in Civil Engineering so I opted the course. CBIT the brand a premier college in our city,Being the No-1 ranked private institution in city I opted the college. The admission process is applying for thr college online that is web counselling. We need to make a list of college and the branches we are opting we need give our preferences in a order of choices from ascending to descending
Faculty :
Around 50 Average age -30 -35 And qualification-PHD The lecturers deal the subjects very well and they have vast experience. Yes in our civil engineering department the faculty had on field experience they have published many papers in International conferences.
