I'm Athira of BSc Microbiology. I love my college and my department. I'm really very happy to be a part of this Nehru Institution.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course I selected is BSc Microbiology. I love this course and I'm very happy to be part of this department. Very good department. The exam structure is very good and very relevant structure. Our own ideas have much value in our circle. Research programmes are very good.

Class Size : 60Course Fees : INR 50000 per year

Placement Experience :

Our college has very good placement training and very good company will approach for placement. Internship in our department is not much helpful.

College Events :

Pongal celebration, Onam celebration, Festember celebration, All the individual department functions. Diwali celebration, Christmas celebration, Pooja celebration, new year celebration, food festival, Holi celebration, Talend day.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Actually our college fees are comparably very less with compare to other colleges in Coimbatore. We are paying 18000 for the even semester and 22000 for the odd semester. Other than that transportation fees, exam fees, and some there fees are paid like breakage fee, department breakage fee, no due fee, uniforms fee etc.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

No, I didn't opt for any scholarships or education loan after joining this college. But some scholarships are available in our college.

Campus Life :

Campus life is really enjoyable and very funny. We being according to the situation. When we came to the point of the study time then we will be very serious about our studies. Our campus and our department make our college life more fresh and happy.

Alumni/Alumna :

Seniors students are little bit ragging minded towards the juniors. Some of the seniors are very good towards juniors.

Admission :

I got the admission in this college by a consultancy referred by my friend. When I'm studying in school at my place Palakkad. I got admission to this college very easily and by a very good approach. I'm very glad to study in this college as a microbiology student.

Faculty :

Very good faculty and their ideas. All the faculties are very caring and perfect in their job. All the faculty in our department have achieved their doctorate degree. They all are very happy to help us and have the ability to give good advice and good ideas to achieve in our life.

Hidden stories of my College

Placement Experience:

For placement selection students should not have arrears on his history and also get 70% of marks to select in placement from third they start a placement section and practice for our placement there are many companies visited like Zoho, Accenture and aerospace aviation etc... The higher package was 70 lacks per year package and the average package was 2.5 lacks per year offered in placement and the company.My plans is to study PG After my graduation .

Placement Experience:

There wasn't much support for people who studied in psychology department because the placement was for sales and bpo sector nothing much was available for us. 5th and 6th sem that is the last sem was the time when students were eligible for placement. Skolar, mahathi soft tech, rnd softtech and offers were there were local companies. Highest package was 5 to 6 LPA and the average package was 2 LPA. 30 to 50 percent of students got placed. I am working as a Language trainer.

Placement Experience:

The placements are best in this college. VIT Is known for Its placements and the highest package is 88LPA with average 8LPA. TOP MNC companies come here and companies like GOOGLE, Microsoft, Intel hire students. If incase on campus placement was not offered then also there would not be much problem because the skills that are taught in the course are advanced and it is easy to get a job with all these skills. The fourth semester students are usually eligible for placements usually the onces who have Completed their total number of credits. Since our course was started, 2 batches passed out, the highest package was 22LPA by intel and last batch out of 45, 25 were placed with many in intel with more than 14+LPA. After getting the degree, my plan is to work with a startup company for 2 years and then get experience.
