Remarks :
Its always all positive. Best education best practice best of the best infrastructure to learn what else does one want from the college. One thing that might be harder for a person from a different state is the language. That seems to be a barrier in the start but once u learn the language then its all chill and best.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course structure is very specific and it helps the student to get to know all around about the topic. Never a single lefture is waived off by the lecturer. All teach here to the best of their knowledge. The practical knowledge is more emphasized here than only theory. The college conducts 3 internal assessment examinations in course of 1 year and 1 University examinations.
Placement Experience :
My college has a hospital joint to it so we get a lot of practical exposure there. Also the college offers placements in various hospitals as well as renowned pharma companies like Himalaya. Post completion of course it is necessary to complete a year of internship. We get to learn a lot of things in the internship as well as there is a large number of patients visiting daily to the hospital.
College Events :
We have annual fests at our college every year and we get divided into teams and then fight foe the general championship. There are different sports events,culturals and literary events that go on in span of a week. Also we have a harmony competition that goes interclass related to sports.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
Learning medicine in india is anyhow costlier. But getting this kind of infrastructure and the facilities its nothing we pay. The tution fees are about 3. 5 lakhs per year and the hostel fees goes upto 40 thousand per year.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I am not aware much about the scholarships by the college but the government of karnataka offers a good amount of scholarships to the students. Various education loan schemes are available at the bank counter of the office.
Campus Life :
College offers a large opportunity at the cultural sports and other platforms as well. We are encouraged to perform at various competition in the state. We are helped in preparation of our seminars at national and international levels.
Hostel Facilities :
The hostel is very nice and well maintained thoufh old. The rooms are spacious and clean. The large windows help proper circulation of air. The college has maintained high standards regarding the hostel and facilities provided there.
Alumni/Alumna :
The college has an alumni reunion once year and all the alumnis are at the best phase of their life. The seniors here are a family away from a family. Any doubts or problems can be freely discussed with the seniors and have a great bonding with them.
Admission :
I was fond of medicine from the early school days where i spent most of my time reading biology. I had keen interest in the profession as well. Seeing the current picture of society ayurveda in true sense is the future of the world and hence i chose to take up ayurveda as my profession. I had heard a lot about my current college from my friends and hence ended up taking admission here.
Faculty :
The college bas got one of the most intellectual faculty in feild of ayurveda. The lecturers are more enthusiastic and ensure proper delivery of the topic to students. Regular lectures and time to time assesments help the students to keep in touch with the topics.
