Remarks :
Overall it is a very good college. A bit too far from the main city. School bus also is not so functional. There is only one way to reach the college and that is bus number 817. You will rarely find ola or uber there. Otherwise the college is good the campus is very big and the faculty is very helpful and highly qualified.
Course Curriculum Overview :
We have exam once in every 6 months. We have different subjects in all semesters. 80 marks written and 20 practical. We had regular classes for about 5-6 hours a day. Some days were really hectic but overall it was a good experience. The campus is really big, labs are well maintained, library is also good with almost every book available.
Placement Experience :
Placements are not as good compared to other colleges of Delhi University. There are a very few companies which comes for placement. College does provide an internship but I was not a part of their internship program.
College Events :
All events and festivals were celebrated in our College. Every year we had fests that would last for 3-4 days. We had inter college competition in which different colleges would take part. We had different competition also like mehandi competition, drawing competition, poster making competition, Rangoli making competition etc.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
Fee structure is very feasible at 4000 per year. It included all the lab fees library fees etc. Tough we paid extra 500-1000 as examination fees but still it was a cheap deal compared to other colleges.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Students having SC,ST or OBC quota got scholarships. There was scholarship for people of below poverty line irrespective of their caste or religion. They just needed to fill a form and used to get some relaxation on their fees amount.
Campus Life :
It was an all girls College. Nearly every sport was played there. Students were also encouraged to be a part of NCC or NSS. Other extracurricular activities were painting and embroidery. Students were given equal opportunity to showcase their talents.
Hostel Facilities :
There were no hostel available in the college. There is a pg nearby though. That pg costed around 8000 per month and included food and electricity. They don't have AC so it's little bit difficult in summers.
Alumni/Alumna :
Alumni are no more in touch as the college is very far from the city. Seniors were very helpful there was no such case of ragging, rather they were very friendly and supportive. They used to help us with our studies and even extracurricular activities.
Admission :
Delhi University takes out it's merit and students getting the minimum cutoff marks or more get's admission. Different colleges have different cutoffs. Once the cutoff is out you can see which college can you get admission in based on your 12th marks.
Faculty :
The faculty is very supportive and highly qualified. They were always there to help. They were very friendly and understanding. I had an internship so wasn't able to give class tests on a regular basis but still they were very cooperative and always took out time to take my test separately.
