Remarks :

The college is good but government funding is very less. Rather than improving infrastructure of already stabilised college, they are opening new colleges. It only decreases the quality of medical facilities. And we also don't get all the medical equipments and technology. In the scarcity of the resources people wants us to perform like an AIIMS doctor.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The curriculum is excellent and have been designed in best possible way. We have hectic internship of 365 days. The syllabus so huge and also we have study alot, like we spend around 12-15 years for medical degree to be a specialist.

Placement Experience :

Due to scarcity of doctors we don't face much problem for job. But nowadays the moneterial earning is not much. And also we have to face the rising voilence against doctors. Intership is good as we get proper exposure but stipend is very less. We work for more than 12-14 hrs a day and we get pay of around 9-10k per month as an intern.

College Events :

We get to celebrate only annual fest. We are always sort of time for our studies itself. We have to read standard textbook of foreign authors and they are so lengthy. And also we have to attend our classes for 8 to 4.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fees are feasible and also government provide scholarship to underprivileged students. But for a private institutions the fees is so expensive. To study in a private medical college is not everyone's cup of tea. You have to be a millionaire.

Fees and Financial Aid :

For reserved category people the government provide scholarship. I don't have much information as i belong to general category. The scholarship is sufficient for college and hostel fees. It's good and should be provided to underprivileged students.

Campus Life :

We don't have much extracurricular activities. We have badminton court, tennis court, and gym but all are not maintained because of poor funding from government. also we don't time for all this. Either we spend our time in library or in hospital wards.

Alumni/Alumna :

Yes they are always helping, that's what the best thing about medical fraternity. We learn alot from our seniors. and also seniors give their books to their juniors who can't afford expensive books. We also get to learn so much about medical field.

Admission :

I gave NEET UG EXAM IN 2014 AND GOT RANK AIR 1411. Then i gone through counseling process and was allotted the college. It's a government funded college. I got this rank among more than 6 lac competitors.

Faculty :

They are highly educated and experienced. They are always eager to teach. The experience teaches us the things that a book can never teach us. And that's where the role of a experience teacher/mentor/doctor comes in.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This curriculum is one the few best developed ones which provides real time problem solving at an actual working facility. The medical college is a part of a tertiary care government hospital to provide , train and allow students to apply the knowledge acquired to utilise to treat the patient under the supervision and guidance of the faculty cum doctors at the hospital. The student feels the pride and responsibility of becoming a doctor and the special attribute the profession holds as a life savior of the society. The curriculum is constantly under modification and scrutiny under the nmc with several reforms over the past decades. Few aspects where more improvement might be done is the more clinical teaching at the initial years of course., which is currently started from 3-4 year. The exams are held often frequently with an internal assessment every 3-4 months followed by a pre- university and university exams each year. The exams hold a difficulty level of above average, making only the ones genuinely preparing for it to pass the exam. The passing percentage is 50 for each exam individually for practical and theoretical exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

MBBS is a professional course and you do need skills to treat patients as it may become a matter of life and death. The teaching curriculum is as per the guidelines of NMC which is a central body and consists again of great doctors with reputation all over India. So, I don't really think that I can really suggest any means to improve that.

Course Curriculum Overview:

To do something great for mankind and for society influences me to join mbbs. Cbme is new curriculum of mbbs which more focusing on clinical skills of a student. Areas of improvement is cbme includes integrated learning but most college don't follow it so nmc should be strict for it. Two sessions exam in year and pre university exam and final University exam this exam includes both theory and practical and these are difficult for you if you're are not study through out the year.

Course Curriculum Overview:

MBBS is a professional course and gives one responsible work for life. There are many reasons for one to choose MBBS in their career line. GMC Khandwa is affiliated with MPMSU (Madhya Pradesh Medical Science University-Jabalpur). Faculty in every department is well qualified and experienced. Student Teacher ratio is quite good in college. Although the college is newly opened in 2017 and started students intake in 2018, there are some departments in which some faculty members are required more but are not sufficient due to slow recruitment. But I am very much sure that this loophole will soon be filled as being in pioneer batches, we have seen the growth and development of the college in these years. So we believe in an ongoing process by management. Exams schedule is based on guidelines provided by MPMSU.

It's my dream to go into this field hence I choose this branch. The faculty is top-class doctors very trained and the ratio I would say is 25:1 all faculty are Ph.D. or either doctor. Exams are very difficult to clear hence required a lot of hard work and study by making notes and studying regularly
