Remarks :

My thoughts about the Oriental Institute of Science and Technology are Neutral. I believe if you want to achieve something then you only will have to work for it because this college provides opportunity but in order ti grab onto that opportunity you wilk have to stand out from hundreds of others. So Know what you want to achieve and work for it. Peace.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Since this college is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi Prodyogiki Vishwavidyalaya (RGPV), Bhopal.Therefore all the courses offered by this college is as per thier curriculum. Since I have just appeared in the 1st Semester exam therefore I can only tell you about the subjects which i had.They were Engg.Chemistry, Mathematics-1, English for Comm., Basic Electrical and Electronics Engg., Engg.Graphics. The course structure offered in this college is pretty good.We get many labs lecture and the college also provide the labs where you can perform on various research. The life at oriental is kind of same as school but with a little more independence.

Placement Experience :

The placement and job opportunities at Oriental are Satisfactory.I wont say they are very good but i wont say they are bad either.Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is the major recruiter here and it recruits somewhat 500 approx students every year.Apart from TCS there are other companies such as Infosys, Wipro, Adani, Capgemini, etc. Internships are provided in college but i would say that you only will have to work for it.

College Events :

Well the Oriental Group of Institutions hold the Techfest known as TECHACME every year which is the biggest technical festival in the Bhopal.Their are many events which take place in our college during techacme, some of which are - CodeHunt, LAN Gaming, Fashion Show, Talent Show, Robo Race, Treasure Hunt, etc.The college also set ups the automobile gallery in the campus.This year the main attraction was the Ford Mustang 2015 (Red). At the last day of TECHACME the college conducts the DJ night where we can enjoy and dance the way we want to.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fee structure at Oriental Institute of Science and Technology is quite expensive.The tuition fee at OIST is 96,000 Rs per year which I believe is very much expensive for the services they provide.I am stating the fees of different services provided at Oriental:- 1.Tuition Fees - 96k 2.Hostel Fees - 36k 3.Mess Fees - 21k 4.Bus fees - 12k The above fees is stated for the services provided per year.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

College provides the Scholarship for the reserved classes of India like SC, ST and OBC.I being a General class student dont know much about this scholarship. College also provide scholarship to the students who performed very well in entrance exam.They cone in the Tuition Fee Waiver (TFW) category.These students dont have to give any Tuition fee to the College.

Campus Life :

Extracurricular activities at Oriental are Satisfactory.Labs of each subjects are provided in the College.This college also take part in Nodal Activities which is the Sports competition in which all the colleges affiliated to RGPV takes part. The Gender Ratio at the College is 1:5 (average).

Hostel Facilities :

Ahh.The hostel life, I would say that is the best part of college life.I have only lived about 6 months in college but i have billions of memories with it.The infrastructure of hostel is not that great but you get bound to it after sone time.The only con i find about living in hostel is the mess food.Trust me its horrible.But i will always suggest to live in the hostel if you are not a localite because this hostel journey will teach you more any college ever would.

External Expense : Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna :

The Alumni network in Oriental Institute of Science and Technology is very strong.Seniors in this college are very helpful.I from mh experience can say that you might not get that much knowledge from your teachers than you will get from your seniors.They will always try to help you and tell you the solutions from their experience.

Admission :

I always wanted to become a Software Engineer and get handy writing the programming languages in the computer, so therefore i chose to opt for B.Tech course.I got the admission in Oriental Institute of Science and Technology, Bhopal through the entrance exam of JEE ( Joint Entrance Exam) - Main. To get admission in this college (or any other) You will have to follow the certain steps:- 1.You have to appear in the JEE - Main and secure a good percentile. 2.Then you will have to appear in the corresponding councelling process in which you will have to list the colleges you are interested in.Always list the best colleges on top. 3.If you are alloted a seat in any desired college then you will have to report at that college and confirm your seat. And thats how i got an admission in Oriental Institute of Science and Technology.

Faculty :

I have mixed opinion about the faculty at Oriental Institute of Science and Technology, Bhopal.Most of the faculty have a Masters degree in their respective fields whereas some of them also have Ph.D in thier Subjects. Till Now my experience at Oriental have been quite nice because mostly all the faculty members are supportive and helps you a lot.I also find it quite amusing that they are very interested in teaching us.They will also take EXTRA CLASSES if needed, which is very good if you want to study.

Student become eligible from 6 th semester Tcs wipro and many startups mahindra jio are come make good amount of offer and off campus is 54 lpa in google and most of students are prepare for gate Percentage placement is 65 percent My plan is to get placement in off campus in product based company and government services

Placement Experience:

From 4th year onwards. The companies visited till now are ConsultAdd, Decode, Gammastak, Daffodil, TCS Digital, And next is Capgemini and Wipro. The highest package till now is 20 Lpa. And the average is 4. But many of my colleges till now are been placed in TCS Digital with a package of 7.5. 95% of the students from CS, IT are placed every year. By joining the company in which I got placed or if scored good marks in gate then I will continue with my further studies by doing Mtech.

Remarks:

LNCT GROUP OF COLLEGES is one the best college in MP as compare to other private colleges it is affiliated with RGPV . In this college fee is much less than other colleges, in less amount we can gain much more , teachers are amazing good infrastructure and one of the most important thing good placement as compare to other colleges of MP.

Best college in bhopal

Remarks:

Yes one negative remark is that, student have to take class regularly. So student can not manage time for self preperation, for any government exam, or any other courses. Thay always demand good attendance in final year also that is not good

Experience Technology at OIST.

Remarks:

I had a little trouble in my first year when I had to stand in a long line to submit my fees. From 2nd year (2013) onward, the only mode of depositing fees is now restricted to online fee payment which saves a lot of time and brings up more transparency.
