Remarks :
The college is average. It will provide you ample of opportunities, you need to capable enough, and if you are, you can actually score a package above 20 lacs.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Do not look for a lot of technical skills from the college. Though most of the faculties are extremely hard working and friendly as well, one can literally notice them trying their best to actually educate them to be engineers, but the syllabus itself, isn't the best, and technically sound, and of course, outdated.
Placement Experience :
Placements are excellent. It completely depends upon the capabilities of the students. Although the average package was strong 4 lacs, a rare few of the students also scored packages above 18 lacs. And no, this isn't a joke.
College Events :
There are quite a few annual events that take place in the college campus itself. Aastha Gill, the Dj Waley Babu singer, came to the college for the concert night. Planet engineering, went amazingly well this year, which is one of our huge events, held annually.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
The fees are very affordable. I know affordability is subjective, but the college will cost you less than a lac per year, and also has quotas for the sc/st/obc classes as well. The management quota entries are charged more, around 75% more, but you don't need to be qualified via any entrance exams for these quotas.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I didn't opt for any loan or scholarship here. Wasn't needed much. You can't have a part-time job and pay for your college yourself.
Campus Life :
The campus life is exactly like your school life. Maybe a tad worse. The main focus here is, of course, the attendance. And more than needed forced discipline. Do not expect the ideal college life you expected, from this college. And they do call you parents if you're absent from the class.
Alumni/Alumna :
There isn't much focus on the alumni network, as hardly anyone cares to look back at their college here.
Admission :
I opted for engineering, mostly because I wasn't sure for anything, and considered engineering as the safest option. I gave my jee exam, got into the college via management quota, as I couldn't score much. But nevertheless, it wasn't difficult to get into college. And it was the best option for private engineering colleges in Bhopal.
Faculty :
There are around 150-200 lecturers in the college. And trust me, most of them are excellent in their fields. I'm from EC branch, and all of the faculties are mostly doctorates, and are very generous towards students, and give all their time and effort, and are always ready to clear any doubts the students have.
