Remarks :

Some remarks must include the Great placement figure at daiict, people are very welcoming here and you would make good friends very quickly and easily here. and on the negative side i must mention that getting 8. 5+ CGPA is not an easy ride. Also during winter semester there are some classes at 8 A. M, which is basically when most of students go to bed in hostel.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Courses are diverse and comprehensive. Exam structure is like 2 mid sems and 1 end sem per semester. Basically you get a little breathing time away from exam. Generally end semester exam has 50% of importance. Some courses also have projects which carry around 10-20% importance

Placement Experience :

Placements are pretty great here in DA. There is the culture of competitive coding among students. I think among tier 2 Colleges the daiict has very great figures. And most of the companies that come here are coming for quite some time now. showing that students perform great after going in company too.

College Events :

SYNAPSE ( cultural fest, "the main event of year") Ifest(tech fest) Concurs ( sports fest ) And large amount of other activities on weekly bases. The weekly/monthly sessions include debate club, programming club, drama club, music club, and lots and lots more of clubs which keep the campus alive.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fee structure here in daiict is Feasible considering most people get chief minister scholarship. Also the facilities and platform which we get is immense compared to what we invest here. Most of us are going to earn back the fees in 1 year. Which we have paid in 4 years.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Most of the student that get admission in DAIICT are eligible for mukyamantri scholarship where they are given around 60K per semsster. Apart from that at the time of admission top 5 people are given merit based scholarship. There are couple of other scholarship but I don't remember them accurately.

Campus Life :

There is a dedicated lab building for conducting the lab sessions, the sports ground is also maintained well where we have space for indoor and outdoor sports and also there is a gym inside the indoor sports complex. The extra curricular activities are there you would usually find same 20% of people everywhere, somehow most of the student like to spend time in hostel.

Hostel Facilities :

There are 20 room per wing, per floor in each room 2 people. And 1 wifi per 10 rooms with great speed. The hostel is usually clean ( let us not talk about its situation in vacation). Also 5 bathroom, washroom, washbasin among 20 rooms, they are also cleaned once a day.

External Expense : Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Alumni/Alumna :

Seniors are great and helpful. There literally no ragging. Also recently they have created this domain on almamater where all alumins can connect and network. Most of there are very keep to talk to junior and provide help wherever possible to juniors. Nothing to complain in this domain.

Admission :

Process was managed by GSHSEB. Where they make merit list based on your board marks and JEE mains marks and you get you ranking. And finally you can shortlist the universities based on your ranking Nd they will finalize your admission. There are 2-3 rounds

Faculty :

Most of the faculties are highly qualified and almost all have PHD. Some professors are doing very intense research and also many of them have excellent command in their field. Although I must admit that not all professors are super excited to entertain doubt of students during or outside class.
