Remarks :
College is good in relevance to academics facilities , extra curriculum, hostel facilities and transport facility. It also provides good placement both in on campus and off campus drive. The only negative remark is the college is very strict.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum had mainly theory papers and a few lab practical sessions. Exams were conducted in semester basis. and each semester had 6 theory paper and 2 to 3 practical examination sessions. We had to clear 8 semesters. The final semester had only 2 theory papers and a graduation project.
Placement Experience :
Placement opportunity are good in our college campus. We had few MNC companies coming to our campus for job placement. We were also sent to Anna university off campus drive though which many of our classmates got placed.
College Events :
Inter college festival like symposium were conducted in our college department wice where we had several paper presentation events , mini projects, technical and non technical events with lunch. We also had sports and graduation day events.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
The fee structure is comparatively less when compared to other colleges nearby. Extra fees was availed for transportation through bus. Also hostel facilities were available with food at a cheaper and better rate.
Fees and Financial Aid :
Scholarship for scheduled caste and scheduled tribes given by the government was accepted and they had a lower fees structure when compared to others. Loan facilities are also available at the campus.
Campus Life :
The labs are well equipped and has all essential requirements for the curriculum. The are separate labs for computer, electronics, electrical, welding and carpentry , mechanical, microprocessor lab etc.
Alumni/Alumna :
Alumni network was recently created for our college to connect with senior students and get benefited related to our studies and career. The alumni network also helped to stay connected with our class mates.
Admission :
Anna university Counseling process held in Chennai based on the marks obtained in 12th examination. I had to register for counseling first to Anna university. Based on my cut-off marks obtained in maths , physics and chemistry. I was assigned a date for counseling and I selected required college and course based on availability.
Faculty :
College had well equipped labs and well trained teachers. We also had cafeteria which serves clean and healthy food. Separate facilities of hostel for boys and girls with food. transport facility is also available even to far distance.
