Remarks :

Negative:- 1-the position of our college is very odd. 2-Canteen is not present for students. 3-Teaching quality. 4-Placement 5- wifi isn't present. Positive:-1-Good transportation. 2-Friendly faculty 3- central library 4-jim facility

Course Curriculum Overview :

The curriculum of our course is good but not for getting a job in the current rapidly grow industries.Because the technology is changed day by day and we are just reading the older technologycal base subjects. The exam structures of our University is semester wise,in every 6 month one semester is done which is held on our own college.

Placement Experience :

If we are talking about the placement then I said zero because some unknown company are came to our college for campus reqruitment and they select only 2-3 student and the salary structure is 10k-12k. Our college doesn't provide any internship.

College Events :

Their are many events celebrate in our college. 1-Fest:-when new 1st year batch are admitted in our college then fest is celebrate.In this a band and DJs are came to our college. 2-social:-In February month social is celebrate every year.in this event band and DJs are came to our college.this event is celebrate in the night.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

If I give you high price for something then you need to give me whatever but a good quality thing bcz I paid you expensive amount, but our colleges semester fees are high anough but they give us low quality jobs with low package.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Scholarship are provided only obc,sc and st students, as I'm a General category so I don't know about scholarship provided by our college. As per my knowledge our college doesn't provide any loan facility.

Campus Life :

Taking about extracurricular activities in our college every year held an event name technofilia in where a student or a group of students show their talent by making some projects. Labs are awesome in our college for every stream.Enough tools/kits are present. Every year a sports tournament is held in our college.in this various sports like chess, football, cricket etc are played by our college Student.

Alumni/Alumna :

Yes, If you are linked with senior student then only you can get some help from their side.As I told our college doesn't provide big company for campusing that's why many senior student are not placed any of the campany

Admission :

First of fall I have to complete my diploma then I have fill a JELET form which is an entrance exam to get admission in the graduation colleges.after the examination if you have a valid score then you can choose colleges for admission.

Faculty :

The college faculty is good. the behavior of our college faculty is good anough. They always help us whatever we need for. Some faculty members behavior is very bad and it's very casual thing bcz in every good things there are some bad things exists.

The most honest and unbiased review of IIEST Shibpur

Placement Experience:

Students from 7th semester onwards are elegible for campus placements. Some of the companies that visits for placements are Google, microsoft, amazon, pwc, TI, accenture, PPEL, etc. A total of 920 recruiters were there which offered 753 offers to the students and out of them around 75-78% were placed. The highest placement package was offered by microsoft for 51 lpa as PPO to 14 students and the role was IDC. The average package is around 7.5 lpa. I am planning to appear in GATE exam and go for masters in IITs after completion of my degree where i will be persuing my further studies in transportation engineering.

Overall only one thing is important is about hardwork with smart work . You have to work on your skills rest college is there to help you to show the path from your college to carrier .

Placement Experience:

From seventh semester onwards companies are coming to visit in our colleges . You will give exams in four phases that are coding , technical, aptitude and after qualifying all simple interview would be taken . Just develop your skills then surely you will get job . Highest package is about 10 lakh per annum and average is about 5 to 6 lakh per annum. The percentages of getting placed are about 60 to 70 percent . Just keep in mind that choose any language like c ++ , java , python and become pro into it . You will definitely get job .

Very appropriate college for all kind of students !! I recommend it.

Course Curriculum Overview:

B.Tech in CSE is future proof and a very good course for IT sector jobs and I was always excited working in these companies, that's why I choose the course. There are 10-12 faculties present in every department. Each faculty is M.Tech qualified and Drs. Their teaching quality is very good. 4 internal theory and 2 Lab exams happen each semester. The questions are standard, regular, and sincere students can easily pass.

Remarks:

College was good in terms of studies and many more. But now it fails in giving placement. Most of the students are still unemployed. Only 30% of the students are placed from college. Others have to find there own jobs.

Remarks:

As seeing the college from outside i expected each room tobe AC but unfortunately it's not during the summer days it's pretty hot in the top floors but it's bearable canteen food items are cheap in respect to outside and wifi isn't free and I hate that.
