Remarks :

only very good remarks very good choice for a veterinary aspirant who looks forward to be a famous veterinarian. the aluminis have also shown us the power of their alma mater. very good protection for women students and very good and ambient and eco friendly campus are the main highlights of this college

Course Curriculum Overview :

course curriculum is tightly packed. there are 3 subjects in first year, 5 in 2 , 3,4 year and there is also a 1 year period of internship or externship which is determined by the OGP obtained exam patterns include 3 internals and a final board exam

Placement Experience :

veterinary course offers lots of job opportunities. It has very large scopes on almost every field of our nation starting from the very familiar dairy farms to even microbiolgist and nutrition expert in NASA. Our college offers both internship and externship programes based on their OGPA. Stipend for intership programes is fixed at 6000 at present and may be subjected to some increase on future.

College Events :

Fee Structure And Facilities :

fees structure varies on the category the student is admitted. fees for the self supporting national , foreign national and NRI quota is fixed at 5.50 lakhs + an additional amount of 45000 per annum fees for VCI category is 50000 and for pondicherri general 46000

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The college offers both internship and externship programes based on the OGPA and provided attractive stipend. Moreover student loans can be availed at the branch of vijaya bank which is located near the premises of the college campus.

Campus Life :

Labs and sports are very good. There is a very well furnished gymnasium with proper lighting and equipment. there is also a very good basketball court , football ground and a badminton court inside the hostel zone premises

Alumni/Alumna :

seniors are very helpful and there are no problems of ragging as of now. no suvh incidents have ever been reported in the college. there are also various committees established fir the welfare of students especially for women

Admission :

admission is through NEET examination, and a list of students is made based on the NEET marks obtained. categories of admission are 1: VCI quota 2: SS national 3: nagaland 4: goa 5: mahe 6: pondicherri general quota

Faculty :

faculty is very good with highly qualified and experienced teachers. the professors here are PHd holders.there is very well furnished lab and very supportive attenders. All the HOD s are higly qualified and are well reputed all over india

RIVER PUDUCHERRY Review

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because, after MBBS, I feel BVSc & AH is the best. It provides you with more opportunities in varying sectors and it is also very fun. And if you love animals then it will be more fun for you. The faculty in our college is very good, all of them are very supportive and each of them has utmost knowledge in their field. Our Physiology and LPM HOD have even published a book on understanding farm animals. Exams and everything are timely and in this course, you will have to study regularly otherwise you will fail. Personally, I feel it's tough than MBBS as you will have to study more than one species in complete detail ( Ox horse dog fowl pig rabbit).

The unexpected avenue

Remarks:

Hostel and infrastructure is not well maintained owing to the funding issues from the government. The government does not think much about the welfare of the students as they recruit at very less frequency which is forcing the students to look for alternatives in other states.

The college is the best in India. I'm so glad that I'm here. The faculty is friendly and the rules are very fair. There is no bad I can think of about my college. The best college where you come to know the status of animal lives, their behavior and how superior they are to humans.

Remarks:

It’s postitve only it’s 54acres if college and negative is professors are narrow minded only few and not all and go green campus well equipped lab facilities and professors are good teaching and they take all class not like other government colleges
