Remarks :
Our college is has both positive or negative remarks. In fields like education, it is pretty good but in placements, it is far behind. Our college provides us with many facilities such as free wifi, lecture theaters, etc.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Courses curriculum is good enough. And exams are held semester wise manner. Theory subjects has 60 mark's final paper and rest 40 marks are taken on basis of students performing in whole semester. And the is practical also of 20 marks which are held before final exams.
Placement Experience :
I am currently under graduating but I know everything about placements and internships. Some companies have visit our college also. But there is record that no company visit our college for civil departments. Yes our college our college provide internships.
College Events :
Our college organized many events till now. We organized events on levels like inter college, within college. Some of yearly organized events are listed below: Freshers, frast, civil engineering society functions, farewell, teachers day, children day, blood donation camps, sport events etc.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
The fee structure is very good. We have to pay thirty thousand per semester. It is feasible not so expensive. But it is a government college so fees must be less than the current fees. The above-mentioned fees are for boys. Girls always pay half of boys' fees.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Yes, there are such types of facilities are there but I don't know each of them. There are special facilities for students that are from Jammu or Kashmir. There are also some scholarships that give benefits to students.
Campus Life :
Labs are not taken properly. We have a lack of equipment in our labs. We are also not provided with a sports facility. Our college does not participate in many sports events. The college has to become serious in sports events also.
Hostel Facilities :
The hostel is not activated till now. The college is started four years but hostel facilities are not provided yet. So all the boys or girls students have to live in PG's, quarters, rooms. So hostels are needed.
Alumni/Alumna :
We have very good seniors around. They are very comfortable with us junior and we also have a good bonding with them. Yes, they are very helpful to us. They guide us very well. They are like big brothers and sisters to us.
Admission :
I got admission on the basis of 12th Mark's. Firstly I apply for the himtu by submitting form online. After that I am going to counseling and submit all my documents needed. After selecting my trade or college I went to my college and fill up last form. So after submitting the form with fees I got admission in college.
Faculty :
The faculty is not so good. We have a lack of teachers. Some teachers are good but the main problem is the teachers that are working here is on contract basis. So we need permanent teachers. Our college is a government college and having a good name or reputation. Our college infrastructure is good.
