Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum similar to what it is for the MBA program with a focus on the banking and financial industry as the program has specialization in that domain. Exams are held in semester wise manner and in one year there are two semesters. Both the theoretical and practical assessments are done as a part of the end semester examination. In between mid-term tests and assignments are given to assess the performance.

Placement Experience :

Placement rate of our college is good. Close to 80% of students from a batch get placed each year in the campus placement. Banks like HDFC, ICICI, and firms like HCL visit a college for campus placement. In case one wants to explore good opportunities outside then one can get placement on his own as well. Many of the seniors have got good placement then the campus placement offers on their own. In terms of the internship, the college has a student exchange program which is with the foreign university, however, if you want to do an internship in core areas then you have to manage on your own.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fee of the college is a bit expensive and this is expected from a private MBA college for business school. Since it is a global Business school it adds to the cost of the course. Overall the to your program will cost you around 4 to 5 lacs. During the first year, you have to submit around 1.98 lakh rupees including the admission fees and other charges. This can be financially demanding for someone so in that case, one can opt for assistance in the face of an educational loan.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The scholarship is offered by the Karnataka state government for a special category of students like the economically weaker section and the reserved category students. This is for the student residing or domicile of the state of Karnataka. Apart from that the central government also offers a scholarship through the national scholarship portal on the fulfillment of certain criteria. An educational loan can be availed by the student from both the public and private sector banks.

Campus Life :

The college has various clubs for promoting extra-curricular activities among students. In terms of events, the major of the event is the student exchange program that the college organizes each year. ISCKON and Fireflies are some of the major events celebrated in the college. Apart from that functions like annual programs, orientation programs, are conducted. Infrastructure wise the colleges well and sound. Classrooms and laboratories have all the facilities that are required for a Business school of such a level.

Admission :

I took the CMAT examination and based on my CMAT score I made an application for admission in this college. Interview and short round of test was conducted after qualifying that I was granted the admission in the PGPM program. I was looking to get into other B-Schools but since my CMAT score was not that much so I settled for this one, as it is also a very popular college in Bengaluru.

Faculty :

Faculty in our college are quite good, they are very well experienced in their subjects and have a good knowledge of global business and the financial market. The focuses of the teachers are to impart skills that would be helpful for us in the corporate domain rather than making us learn the principal and theoretical things. They are quite cooperative as well. Overall, I can say that the teaching staff know their responsibility and are doing a good job.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum from the university is transferred by the teachers in a digestive manner with all relevant example , live scenarios, case study activities and much more. The exams on average come after 3 months of a semester commencing , the difficulty towards the exam itself is moderate.

Placement Cell is very hardworking and they do provide placement support for all specializations but most of the jobs that are offered are marketing or customer support roles so it's always encouraged to look for job opportunities through other sources as well.

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities are excellent in Indus Business Academy. Alot of good companies come to the college for the placement and almost all the student get placed in a good company. iIf the student has payed attention in the classes and the tasks assigned then getting into a company is not difficult. The students start getting placed soon after the completion of first year. Compainies like Deloitte, KPMG, PWC, Colgate, Bata , GT and other good companies come to the college every year for the placements every year. The average package offered by the companies is 6.5 CGPA and it may increase this year. The student placement is 100%. I have also been selected in Deloitte for tax profile.
