GNIT is really good as a private college with complete ragging free campus and excellent faculties and alumnus network with best of facilities and cultural activities. Every sort of talent has a place to showcast.
Course Curriculum Overview :
GuruNanak Institute of Technology is under the JIS group of colleges. Our college is a AICTE, UGC recognized autonomous body with its own curriculum under the JIS group. So it also has its own exam structure which is much related to MAKAUT but had different exam patterns.
Placement Experience :
Being a private college, placement is really good. As to say, if you're among the best 50% of your batch mates, you're sure to a good placement. And those who do not get placed at last. College do think and support them too.
College Events :
GNIT has a vast list of events just like any other college has. Here we have fresher's programme(SAMPAN) for the new students along with teacher's day(UJAN) celebration. Then there is an annual cultural event (ZYZZVA) and annual technical festival (TESSERACT) and more events are there.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
Just like any other private engineering colleges. For a B.Tech course it is around 45K per semester and there is loan system also where college officials help. And one can also opt for different scholarship schemes.

Campus Life :
All required laboratories are there in the college and there is girls and boys common room where there is provision of different sports. The college also has an annual intra and inter college sports event for the students as well as the faculties.
Alumni/Alumna :
Alumni network is very strong. Senior are there in every nook and corner of the technological sector. And college and departmental senior are always there to help. Different Technical clubs are there where seniors are there to help.
Admission :
I gave the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination and applied for the counselling procedure where one need to select his preferred colleges with preferred stream and then wait for the merit list. I did the same. Submitted my list and then in the 3rd round of counselling I got this college and took my admission here in this college.
Faculty :
Faculties are well qualified and are really good and helpful to the students. Most of them do understand the pressure a engineering student has to go through and take care of the students accordingly.
