Course Curriculum Overview :
The course is very nice. Teach about the basis of cooking and the basic standards followed by a hotelier. If we choose hotel management then we can select our own field. We can choose front office, food and beverage service, food and beverage production and housekeeping too. The basic educations will be provided by the college then we have to undergoes training and all. The training last for 6m9nths in which we can do the training in 5 star hotels and the four departments. Mainly there are 6 semester. Every semesters have examination.
Placement Experience :
After completing the course, the college placement cell organise different interviews that help the passout students to get a job in different properties. I used to be a chef. So my interest was in. Cooking. So I attend interviews and opted the profession chef. I got job in Raipur and right now Im working as a chef
College Events :
The hotel management department encourages the students to perform well. So that the events were organised. There were many events such as the college theme dinner which was carried out by hotel management department in which the events were organised and all the activities were carried out by the students including the cooking, food and beverage service, setting, making a theme for the event ets.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
For the hotel management students the fees were expensive. They want to pay 3 lakh for doing the degree of hotel management. And also for the materials the students want to spend more. For doing the projects, for doing the trial on food production, buying the journel which cost about 200rs per book from the college for each subjects etc.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The loan is not offered by the college. If we want to take the loan for studying we want to approach the banks and the bonefide certificate will be provided by the college for informing the bank that the student was studying in the college in which the certificate include the fees structure and all things that are related to the academics of that student
Campus Life :
For hotel management students the facilities which includes the kitchen and restaurant facilities provided by the college. Along with that a computer lab is there in the hotel management building which helps the students for browsing their academics topics.
Hostel Facilities :
There is a hostel in the college campus which students want to. Pay an average amount of 3000 per month including there food expenses. The food was too bad and we will get chicken fish egg according to the day
Alumni/Alumna :
Actually I'm not aware about the alumni network. I don't know about the senior students. Some of the seniors were known person to me so I have only contact with few of them and I'm not aware about the alumni network network and all, I'm not expecting such kind of alumni network from my college
Admission :
After I passed 12th, contact with my college and understand the procedures of admission. They told me that 1st I want to register in calicut university site. I register in calicut university site for the allotments and wait for the 1st allotment. Before the 1st allotment there is a trial allotment. I applied for bsc Hotel management at Naipunnya Institute of Management and Information Technology Pongam. In the trial allotment I got selection. Wait for my 1st allotment and got selected after that complete the other procedures of admission.
Faculty :
The faculties are very nice. They are well professionals who worked in the hotel industry in different departments like frond office, food and beverage service, food and beverage production and housekeeping. The have the knowledge about the fields which they worked. So they can easily help us to share there experience in hotel industry and also provide guidance to students for there future career.
