Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum is as per Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik (MUHS). Examination pattern is as per University guidelines. There is a strict 50 per cent pass criteria for all students.

College Events :

The college makes it mandatory for students to attend various seminars and conferences. Religious festivals like Ganesh Chaturthi is celebrated every year with the utmost zeal and excitement. There are also many dental conferences that are held in the campus itself.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel facilities are excellent. There are separate girls and boys' hostel facilities with a capacity of two seats and three seats respectively. Hostel fees is payable only through DD. Other facilities are also great.

Admission :

VSPM has 100 undergraduate seats. The application process is offline. The application form is available on the official website of VSPM's Dental College and Research Centre. A student must have scored a minimum of 50% in their 10+2 in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. In addition to this, the entrance criteria also includes the students' score in NEET UG exam. Admission to the course is done on the basis of a valid score in NEET UG 2020.

Faculty :

The faculty members are resourceful and extremely knowledgeable. They are continuously available for students' support. They have years of experience in rendering lectures in the most practical and helpful ways. Faculty members are interactive and parents can approach teachers regarding their wards' progress.

Modern day Dental Education

Course Curriculum Overview:

The reason why I chose this course is because I was interested in the human body anatomy and biology. Subjects like oral surgery, radiology and general medicine are my current favourites. The curriculum prepares us for real life cases by including various examples of different patients. The practical quota is such that it requires the students to attend to the patient in real life scenarios in an actual hospital. These experiences gained in the clinics during the course help in better understanding the theory part of the curriculum.

Life at GDC MUMBAI

Course Curriculum Overview:

BDS is the only degree where you start with specialization. You have a limited part to deal with but has diverse clinical cases. One can easily set up a clinic after BDS unlike MBBS . Remarks:

Positives: A healthy hassle free environment without any kind of ragging related issues. One of the safest colleges for Womens. Frequent placement drives from various of companies all over India. Leaves you with adequate knowledge about the subject with acceptable academics. Negatives: Not suitable if you want to enjoy the college life along with academics. Fee structure is not feasible for lower class people if appointed through management.
