Course Curriculum Overview :
It covers all dental subjects, well defined as DCI guidelines. May change with time to time. First year anatomy, biochemistry physio and dental material.
Internships Opportunities :
In internship, there is lack of patient exposure and no stipend is offered. Better to choose some other government institute to make your hand better in the field of dentistry.
Placement Experience :
No not at all, no placements. Which is quite obvious in medical stream. Therefore not applicale for HITHs. Here a person can work for clinic intially then opt for your own practice.
College Events :
Annual celebration with great DJ function and sometimes intercolleage function. Students also invited in various musical and annual function around different colleges in region.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
For government seats fees around 50k plus hostel and other management seats 1. 5 lakh+50K hostel. Not that expensive, cheap than MBBS. Good option but personally better to perfer MBBS than BDS as job prospects.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
No scholarship, but yes college has its oriental bank of commerce branch for loan can opt for that if required.
Campus Life :
Gender ratio is 80 percent girls and 20 % boys, lots of hotel parties cultural events. No thing like race religion. Very open enviornment can closely intermingle with almost every culture.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostels are good on twin sharing basis with good homely food, good expereince. No problem with hostel will definitely enjoy this life.
Alumni/Alumna :
Yes, we have alumni network and not very active in that. Once in a year alunmi meet should be there other wise we have a committee working in that.
Exam Structure :
Exam and labs were in daily routine in such colleges, bit hectic but manageable with other fun activities.
Faculty :
Faculty is very good, nice teachers from various apex institute like PGI, AIIMS and other government colleges. Teachers are very supportive in all the departments.
