Remarks :
There is only one negative in malabar christain college, its Politics. Its really eaten the pleasent atmosphere sometimes, others are very fine, teachers and facultues are really fine and the climate in college is super.
Course Curriculum Overview :
If we are willing to study Course will be very easy to get passed. Exam structure is semester based, one semester is 6 months duration and we have 6 semesters after each semester university will conduct the exam if we fails in one subject that will become supply and we can write it again, we can make it pass in a five years duration after writing all the semesters we get the 'course completed' certificate and we can use it for the post graduation courses after 6 months we will get our orginal degree certificate from the calicut university.
Placement Experience :
College provide placement, in college there is a placement club, it provides all the availble company details to students are about to pass out and they can apply for the job and college will conduct interview after that they will choose students are eligible.
College Events :
There are fifteen major events in malabar christian college. After the election the union will conduct a event thats union inaguration that will be very fun, for the inaguration there will be a celebrity from any industry like cinema or literature. There is a chance to conduct event for each and every departments, its known as association of the departments, there are thirteen departments in college each one conducts the events. There will be a one last program thats know as farewell event, it will be ver colourfull, full of joys and sadness due to leaving the college.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
There is a scholarship for all the students which is all the fee is provided by the government, we can register on the admission time for the scholarship as i mentioned before and when its time to pay the government will pay the fee.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
There is postmetric scholarship provided by the university. There is premetric scholarship. There is a scholarship which is very helpfull to pay our fee. There is a scholarship for below average financial state students. There is a fisherman scholarship.
Campus Life :
Sports and labs are fentastic. I have participate in softball team and we secured third place, our college is very populor in cricket and boxing, currently our player rohan is selected to indian team under 19. Labs are very fine, there are lot of buildings only for labs.
Hostel Facilities :
There are lot of hostels near by, we can join anywhere as our easy way and rate, we can get into the hostel at any time, its monthly based rate, we can choose to pay the bill for year, usually students go for the monthly payment methode.
Alumni/Alumna :
There are lot alumni network and senior students who are stay connected to college, they conduct lot of events too. Last time they conducted a event know as "Ozora'. They donate money and books too. They provide books and instruments for the students who are poor.
Admission :
After finishing the plus two we have to register through single merit allotmemt then university will allote a short list based on our marks then we will get the allotment based on where we registered (colleges). I got my name in short list.and i went to malabar christian college and reported that im willing to join. Then i filled up all the forms and submitted my photographs,plus two certificate,Income,Nativity and Caste certificate in college.Then i joined in malayalam department.
Faculty :
They are so helpfull and gratefull to guide us, they always stay on our back at any time, they teach very well, in each department there are 10 teachers then in office there are 40 faculties, there is a library which is a large one, thousands of books are arranged in very fine order by the faculties, teachers are staying near by college in a 3 Km surroundings due to the university law so they are available as much easy to be there in college.
