Remarks :
Positives - infra is good. Campus is big. Actually so big that u will sometimes feel that u have ur own city here. Faculties are supportive, i wont say very much talented. But overall if you think u need some degree and placements u can do on ur own than this is good college. Negative - exam structure should focus more on practical. Try to give more salary to good faculties to keep them in.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Cource curriculam was average. I wont say bad as our college tried to walk with latest things and even exam structure was good. Though I always believe that practical exams should be superior than theorical one. It was not the case in our college.
Placement Experience :
placements, yes but not good. We got many companies during our placements but they were offering way too low packages and even with at least 2 or 3 years bond period. Placement officer sent us some emails about openings and off campuses but it was like applying on ur own through any recruitment portal.
College Events :
Every year we have one techfest which contains many technical as well as nontechnical events. You can manage, organise or participate in any event. We also have one DJ night kind of thing at the end of techfest and one Garba night during Navratri.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
A little bit high compared to the offering. During our time we had to pay 72000 per annum and we have trend to increase fees 5000 per year. Dont know the current fees but even 72000 was too much at that time.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
We had tuition fee weaver scheme under which you have to submit income certificate and there is a chance that ur total fees would be nullified. Some students were also offered scholarships bases on reservation quota but not sure whether it was from college or govt.
Campus Life :
Since I was in computer engineering, I can tell you abt computer lab. It was good, systems were fine but not with high configuration. For Android labs we were supposed to bring our own laptops as systems were not able to run emulators. Sports facilitied were bad and even no one will fill your attendance if there is some championship kind of thing going on. You have to manage ur sports love and 75% attendance together.
Alumni/Alumna :
We have big alumni network over the world as our fees were high and only students with good financial background can afford it so most of then will fly abroad to pursue MS. Nd about helping, I hardly receive 1 mail or msg in 2-3 months regarding something. So alumni network, not much help.
Admission :
Through ACPC which is online engineering entrance portal in Gujarat. You have to fill colleges as per your wish and u will get one depends on your merit. There were three rounds of it and one last reshuffling if in case you still want to change your college. Fill up the form wait till completion of 3rd round then you have to pay 20000 as admission token and bang, admission confirmed.
Faculty :
Only few faculties were good enough. Others were kind of freshers. They try very hard to explain everything but only experience can teach u few things right?. even management was not able to keep the good faculties, during my time 2013-2017, 4 or 5 faculties left the job as they got govt jobs and they felt that govt is better than their current ones.
