Remarks :

No,I can never have any negative remarks about my college. I can only have many many good memories and well wishes for my future juniors. And best wishes for the ones,who are sitting for placements.

Course Curriculum Overview :

There are basically 6 semesters throughout the course. Apart from that,we have mid semesters at every semester.We have 2 mid semesters in each semester. A percentage of 75 is mandatory. Student without meeting the percentage of attendance would not be allowed to sit for any exam.

Placement Experience :

No,as per my knowledge,they do not provide any internship. So i am unable to answer anything about stipend. But IEM has stood one of the best college in Kolkata for the best placement offers. Me,myself has got 3 job offers.

College Events :

Our college is a cultural college. They are very strict in studies and also encourages for the cultural things. We have our fest,both for our campus and gurukul campus. We have our own exhibition. We have food mart.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fee structure is feasible in our college. We had to pay 50,000 for each semester,either by cash or card or neft,or online. If anyone delays to pay,then they have to add on the fine when they will be paying for the next.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I do not personay have any experience about any good scholarship,or loan facility offered by our college that I know of or availed. But i am damm sure about the thing,that if anyone is facing any such problem,the college helps them through.

Campus Life :

We have regular lab classes. Each student is given a seperate machine and a stipulated time to finish their lab works. If anyone can not complete within the given time,they can opt for extra classes or at the break time or at free classes. We also have annual sports meet.

Alumni/Alumna :

I guess,one could not get anything better from this college. There had been a regular visit from the senior students. Some of them are working in coorporate life,many are still studying. So,we could even personally contact them.

Admission :

A form was taken from the college office. An entrance exam was held in my college at a stipulated date. We were given questions based on our 12th syllabus. After that,a merit list was published. I was selected and called for the admission.

Faculty :

They are the most humble and most respectful person ever I met. After passing school,I never thought,college could be more interesting to attend.But my professors,proved me wrong. I enjoyed my college more than school. They are our guide,teacher,friend.

A Good-Bad College Experience.

Placement Experience:

We started preparing for our placements from semester 4. And the preperation kept on increasing with each semester. The companies like SAP, Accenture, Deloitte, TCS started visiting from 5th semester. Their average package varied between 4-5 LPA. If 100 students sit for placement, then approx 85% are placed. That is the biggest flex of the college. We all were placed too.

My College life was awesome, i never forget it.

Placement Experience:

From the 5th semester, you can be eligible for the placements. There are many companies visited in our college like Amazon, Wipro, TCS, Accenture, Sutherland, etc. The Highest package salary is like 3,50,000/- maximum, and the average package is 2,75,000/- I have seen in my college life. But there are so many companies that visited in the past few years, they offered up to 4,50,000/-. There are 60% are placed in the company.

Campus Placements are provided by colleges where big companies come with nice packages. One can be eligible to apply for placements after 2nd year. Some companies that have visited the campus for placements include HCL, TATA Motors, WIPRO, MAHINDRA, L&T, and many more. The average packages the company offers range from 15000-27000 per month. The percentage of students getting placement is also good. My plans after getting the degree are to continue my study and get a good job along with it.

Remarks:

College is very strict regarding discipline and timing. You need to enter college before 9.13 or you can enter at 10.30. You cannot enter and leave college at your own well and wish. In spite of discipline, you will enjoy your college days and become a professional after three years.
