Remarks :
College is awesome.National service scheme, NCC etc are there. A bank is there in our college to carry out money transactions.i think that that's a branch of Dhanalakshmi bank. All others than these the teachers provide personal help for poor students.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The exams are moderate. Questions will be according to the syllabus provided.Answer papers will be subjected to double valuation. One mark questions, 2 mark questions,4 mark questions and 4 essays will be provided . Except 2 mark questions all others are optional.
Placement Experience :
No.i don't know more about that .I'm currently studying in that college.I'm a final year student. There is not much placement and job opportunities from the college . Commonly the students with high marks in pg will be appointed there as teacher.
College Events :
Onam celebration is the most wonderful event celebrated. Union inauguration day is also grand with a special guest .other than all these their is Valentines day celebration, Christmas celebration,Holi, women's day ,arts day ,sports day etc
Fee Structure And Facilities :
It's not expensive. Fee concession is provided by the college for students . There is no fees . Students of parents with government job and those who are above a certain level have to pay exam fees .Others doesn't have to pay any fees.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
There is no loan facility from the college because we don't have to pay the fees. The college provides a wide range of scholarship .The prominent one among them is KPCR.The selected students will get ?10000 per year.Many other scholarships are there other than this. Scholarships are provided for fishermen's students and for students whose parents are course workers and for selected students with high marks in Hindi in +2.
Campus Life :
There are many extra curricular activities in our college other than the curriculum. The physical education trainer is very talented. There are two physical trainers in our college .Lab infrastructure is nice they are provided with all the things needed. Sports training is given for students . Daily practice will be there in the evening.
Hostel Facilities :
There is no hostel facility for boys in our college. There is a girls hostel in the college compound itself. They charge 5000 per student .There will be about 5 students in a room .This is the only collegehostel for teachers and students.
Alumni/Alumna :
Yes they are. They will organise seminars and the senior students will help us in various extracurricular activities .They will train the students for participating in the intercollegiate competitions.
Admission :
My admission was based on my +2 marks I got 82% and got admission there by merit list. First I was in St Michael's College Cherthala I studied there for about 2 months in department of literature (B.A English). Currently I study BSc Botany.
Faculty :
The teachers, staff and non teaching staffs are very much helpful . Teachers will help us in our curriculum and they are very much strict in having attendance. A student who has attendance below 75% is not eligible to write the exam.
