Remarks :

The NAAC is credited with a A grade for the college facility. The college is manage by S N trust. They are keeping the college in a perfect manner. A student in this college is personally, mentally, physically get motivated and be a good personality after his course.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The syllabus of the courses offered is in a standard. It covers all the fields of a particular subject. also the exam structure is students friendly. we get enough time to. Cover the portions. The exams are conducted in a student friendly manner. The placement activities are active in the college by the face cell in the college.

Placement Experience :

There is a cell for providing career related matters. The face cell ia providing the students several career related programmes, personality development programmes, infosis, wipro, tcs, hp, Dell, tata. The students from our college is placed in these companies.

College Events :

The college authorities like association, departments, NSS, NCC, College Union etc. are conduction almost all cultural events in the calendar and tech fests. Association day. Youth festival, union day, arts day, College day, etc. Every year the college management conduct a event for congragulating and giving scholarship for rank holders and class toppers

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fee structure is published in the kerala university website. There is semester fee and exam fee for every semester. Those students who eligible for e grant need not to pay the fee. The fee can be payed through online and through college office. The reservation category students are eligible for e grand.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The college has scholarship facility for reservation students. They don't need to pay any kind of fees. Also there is many scholarship.

Campus Life :

The gender ratio is almost equal. The campus life is amazing , i am really enjoying the college life. The studenta from all kinds of economic are in the college. The college has a decent ratio in religion. The politics in the college ia also Strong. The election is conducted every year foe the college students.

Hostel Facilities :

The college provide hostel facility for women for a cheap cost. The women's hostel is monitered by college authority. It is inside college campus. A single room is accomodated by 4 students. The hostel for boys is in outside the college and it ia private. The students who are eligible for scholarship has no fees in college hostel.

Alumni/Alumna :

The college supports all decent alumni and they provide facility for alumini meetings. There are many well known personalities in the alumni

Admission :

The admission procedure is of 3 types. Merit, community and management. The merit quota is by a single window process by applying in the Kerala university admissions. Community and management is now can apply in the online by the same web page. The college is aided and it is affiliate to university of kerala. I opt for computer science because by favorite subject of 12th was computer.

Faculty :

In total there are about 200 staffs including teaching and non teaching. Every department has a phd holder associate or assistant professor, there are 17 courses and 15 departments. All the lectures have the minimum qualification UGC NET and have enough experience.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My decision to choose MSc mathematics at Farook College is because of the systematic curriculum they are to be provided. It is quite useful for getting a high-quality of education. They prepared real-world applications. I suggest the curriculum should be prepared according to the preferences of students. The exams ae semester-wise.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am very interested in a teaching career especially teaching mathematics, so a teacher should understand the subject matter in depth, I chose to select MSc maths after completing my bachelor's degree. We have numerical analysis, cryptography, computer programming, and boolean algebra as papers of applied mathematics, we can find its applications in computer coding, data analysis, engineering, etc. We can be a data analyst after completing MSc maths, after studing a six-month data analysis course. The curriculum should be improved by giving a space for data analysis papers in one of the semesters. The frequency and timing of exams are well scheduled, the course is not surely an easy one but can be cracked by little effort.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Our batch was in Covid lag batch. So the course curriculum was highly rushed. We weren't able to cover aspects which would have real world applications. The last semester research project was fine but still more hands on experience and more research oriented approach could've been taken .

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am a graduate in biotechnology so for me genomic science was ideal as I was interested in it. There could be more experiments in the practical sessions and more placement opportunities. As of now there are no placements. Also the department could bring in some international and national conferences too.

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities are very high. We get a minimum package of 6.5 lakhs per annum and more. The top end companies like EY , Deloitte, Tcs , federal bank, IBM, Tetrapark etc.. are available for us.

Placement Experience:

There are departments with placements and university has got a placement cell. There are also various career guidance classes, Innovation and entrepreneurship development centre(IEDC) to support students. But my course is more of a research oriented and as such I can apply for phd opportunities myself. The faculties will help in getting internships, recommendations and journal publications as long as long as we are interested.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Talking about the course, as it is a pg course the main thing is the effort we put in this subject. The teachers has a limit and it is always the effort we put from our side to complete the course. Frankly speaking, the course is a tough one. Syllabus is so long that many things are there to study.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for the placement in their final year of the course. We have BS-MS, MSc, IPhD and PhD currently. Students from BS-MS are more likely to be placed. Though placement is less as students mostly go for research after masters. We have a placement cell that notifies about the opportunities in industries and academia. As my plans are to pursue a PhD after getting this degree so I never got interested in placement opportunity.

Remarks:

We still has some infrastructure problems. Some classrooms are not good enough to sit and learning.The toliet facilities for students are not good. We don't have hostel facilities for boys. These are negatives of my college.
