Remarks :

The major negative part of thapar is it's fees. Otherwise everything is way better than all the other colleges across India. They have everything you expect and need in your college life. They make sure you are busy always in some kind of activities to make you an all rounder person.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Course curriculum is very deeply analysed by the faculty, they are quite serious about the exams. There are basically 2 major exams in a semester namely mid semester, end semester and an unofficial exam atleast once in a week.

Placement Experience :

Thapar is the best in terms of placement and internship. It has almost a record of 95% placement. It guarantees opportunity to all. I am in first year still the major companies like Microsoft has set up a society here to teach and provide internships for undergraduate. It is the best in overall placement statistics till now.

College Events :

Thapar has around 70-120 events every year the major being frosh fest, thapar food fest, virsa, saturnalia and many more. There are guest lectures as well. They are organised in such a way that everyone could attend the events .

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Very very expensive. Turns around to be 20-25 lacs for 1 student for a btech degree. Complete information has been provided at the thapar's official website . The fee is taken at the beginning of each semester, but there are so many scholarships available for students.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Loan facility is available at much cheaper rate than the actual rates. Many students opt for it. Scholarships are way too much the major being on basis of +2 marks, on basis of your cgpa, on the basis of your family incomes, on the basis of caste etc.

Campus Life :

There are so many societies where you can unleash your hidden talent. Every tulype of sports activities are available here and they are do serious for playing at state , national and even international level. Thapar has its name among the best sports lawns, there are lab for every thing that we can't understand practically.

Hostel Facilities :

The best hostels of India are in thapar University. Eg hostel J, hostel M , HOSTEL FRDE , THEY ARE LIKE A FLAT TYPE WHERE YOU CAN ENJOY YOUR PRIVACY AND TIME WITH YOUR FRIENDS. Proper bathrooms, beds, mattresses, almirah etc are provided. There is a full time tight security available. If you have any issues you can contact Warden anytime.

External Expense : Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Alumni/Alumna :

NO RAGGING HAPPENS AT THAPAR UNIVERSITY CAMPUS, the seniors are very very helpful and friendly. They will make it sure to adjust you in this family atmosphere as soon as possible. Also alumni tell everything about the college rules and placement tips without hesitation.

Admission :

First there were three round of online councelling and after about a month there were offline modes of councelling on the basis of jee score and 12th board marks separately. Each information was displayed on the website and there were proper arrangements made for admission process to run smoothly. Finally I got ECE

Faculty :

They are quite serious about their subject. They are very friendly and helpful. Since there is a large number of students in a single class so sometimes it becomes difficult for them to manage class. They are also available after their contact hours either by WhatsApp or a specific time allotted. Still if we have any doubt so tutorials have being set up for clearing all our doubts.

Placement Experience:

The placements of the college is good and differs in every course, the highest placement record is 45.5lpa which is going to be increased the number if companies visiting is also increasing which increases the number of placements and the average package is 8lpa. If I can't get a on campus placement then I will try for off campus placement. Students of final year of their course will be eligible for the placements if they fulfill the company putted criterias. As college promised the 100% placement but it is not right only some students were getting placed who have some extra skills and knowledge Various companies visited the college every year like Autodesk, Cisco, XPERI, Toki, Accenture, Edoofa, delta x, RT camp etc and provides a good number of placements

Placement Experience:

so every year different companies visit our campus and people from the fourth year are able to see for the placement. Firstly, we have to clear a written entrance test once clear that the company will interview them and get the job so the highest package last year went 25,00,00 per annum. However, the average package is six lakh per annum. It completely depends upon your CGPA and your personal skills, how much you groom yourself to be fit for that company. Tech and non-tech companies both visit.

Btech computer science in Lpu university pros and cons

Placement Experience:

If we have skills, we get placements here, and if we work hard, we can get up to 50 LPA. Most of the renowned companies will come for placements, for example, Microsoft, Google, etc. TCS will give a high number of job offers, but the package is low. It all depends on you and your skills. The placement percentage in Computer Science is about 80-90%, and the average is 7 LPA.

Best University in Punjab

Placement Experience:

CT University has best placement record till now. They have 400+ recruitment partners. Companies like byjus, paytm, infosys, max healthcare and capgemini have already recruited students from CT University. CTU also have corporate resource centre in ct university , to provide ample opportunities for full time internships, on job trainings and placement in reputed companies. Also, students are doing internships with stipends within the university also as CTU ambassadors along wwith theirt study, so this should be a good enough proof of the quality of the skills being imparted to the students.

The placements are good. A lot of companies like PayTm, Maruti Suzuki, etc come every year and recruit a large number of students. The placement process is of several rounds and tests. There is an Entrepreneur Cell that helps students enhance their skills.

I got PMSS scholarship in the branch i always wanted, plus its a reputed government college. The college has a great faculty members and good infrastructure. The hostel facility is also great and the food served is healthy and hygenic.
