Remarks :

POSITIVE : The campus is lush green situated in the valley of Himalayan Mountain range and covered with green and beautiful area from all the sides where you can enjoy like you can in any hill station. Negative : The only limitation is that this campus is in forest 10 km from main highway and 20 km from city

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course I am persuing in UPES University is B.Tech in Automotive Design Engineering. Here, the infrastructure is amazing and highly technology based as compared to many other universities and college providing same course. Exams done twice in a semester along with internal marks given on the basis of assignments and attendance.

Placement Experience :

Yes, the college provides the internship on the basis of your academic qualification and non academic background. The internship basically provided by UPES University is in core companies and with proper stipend of varying number.

College Events :

There are lot of Events in UPES University. 1. Uurja - The biggest ever cultural fest of Uttarakhand 2. Ignite - The technological fest with more than 50 events 3. B-Conclave - The business fest by Upes is one of the best startup fest of Dehradun Rest there are many events including techno legal and all.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Expensive as compared to other universities but feasible according to the infrastructure and services provided by University itself. As we have the specialized laboratories in UPES in core areas. The campus is lush green beautiful.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Scholarship provided by UPES university on the basis of your academic progress and academic grades only. If you are eligible your tuition fee is refund. Loan Facility is available at all banks of India for this particular university.

Campus Life :

Extracurricular Activities, i love to talk about this part as i enjoyed a lot in all these work. The sports ground the basketball court, football ground, cricket camps, badminton court, air hockey, snookers and all are facilties provided under sports. Rest theatre stage is there for Paradigm Revived.

Hostel Facilities :

Sorry i have not. But if someone opted for campus hostel it will cost u 145k per year in triple sharing and facilties provided by UPES University is best as compared to other universities. The life at UPES is quite fascinating.

External Expense : Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Alumni/Alumna :

Helpful seniors are there in UPES University as they are always ready to help you in every aspect wether its academic or non academic. Alumni helps you to have better project and better internship with good industrial exposure.

Admission :

The process is very easy all you required to have 60% in 10th and 12th and then you need to clear UPES Entrance Exam and then counselling and admission confirm in the University of Petroleum & Energy Studies, Dehradun.

Faculty :

The faculties in UPES University particularly are all doctorate holders with their PG from IIT/NIT & other prestigous instituition of India. They are highly qualified and also amazing in problem solving. They help us in publishing research papers and all projects.

Is this college actually good?

Placement Experience:

students are eligible for placement after 4th semester that is the 5th sem. many companies vist the college specially from 7th semester the companies that visit are paypal, amazon, tcs, wipro, atlantis and many other companies make a visit.the highest package ever offered was 88.40 lakhs and the average package was 3-5lakhs.i personally plan to work at a high end company after degree. the percennt of students getting placed is 45 to 52 percent.

Btech is one of the best degree now a days but the specialization which may act a major role in placement is not good enough in college. Exams are not that tough but you have to self study for the placement as the study of college is far different for the placement

Most honest review about RCE.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible after the 5th semester to be able to apply for college placements. 5-6 companies visit every year for college placements but most companies don't offer good jobs. Around 75% of the students get placements from college campuses. My plans are to apply to big companies like Google or Amazon via gate exam or MTech.

The location and placement of this college is best compare to other engineering colleges so thats the reason i go with it and i love it there education facilities are so good faculty are full in all branches seniors are good in this college 7 branches and each branch have a own branch fest so there are lot of attracting thing who attract me amd i come to this college thats it.

The company are visiting for placements are vista. Hcl. Vipro. Comphor. By juss. Infosys. Best college in uttarakhand

Remarks:

Extracurricular activities in our college are not too good because there is no badminton court. Only a ground to play football and cricket as well, and a ground for basketball and one for volleyball. Sports events are organised by the students itself and to participate there is the entry fee.

Rce is one of the best engineering college in uttarakhand

Placement Experience:

Placement and job opportunities are in plenty. If you take admission in SRM and manage to not take any backlog in any subject then 100% you will be placed.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

The fee varies according to which courses you are taking admission. The scholarship is available for students.scholarship are giving on the basis of jee scorecard on the basis of your 12th result.
