Remarks :

Overall college rating is average. College is good in terms of space and faculty atleast half of it. But some faculties need to be replaced. Different societies should be formed other than societies related to study.

Course Curriculum Overview :

There are sessional between before the end terms. In my time there used to be two sessional and one end term examination but now there is only one sessional examination and the end term examination. The difficulty level of the exam is 60-85% average and rest tough accordingly.

Placement Experience :

Placements are average. If I need to give a number for a percentage then I would give 80. That is it somehow reaches to 80 percent in placement. Striped atleast is of 7000. The scale of companies (big or average or small) which visit the campus are average and small mostly.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Feasible. It was 83000 rupees for each year. Which makes it almost 41500 rupees each semester. Also the scholarship are available and the fee waiver is also available for the students who are financially broke.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I don't know much personally about it but I know that some of my classmates were on scholarships as they were not financially strong. Education loan is also available from the banks. What I mean to say is that bank approves education loan for this College.

Campus Life :

Labs are average, sports meet occurs once in a year, one at college level and one at University level and prizes are given for the same. Also there are different activities like presentation, debate etc for the personality improvement.

Hostel Facilities :

I don't think the college has hostel. The college was built in a village near the outskirts of Delhi named as bakoli. So the college didn't own any hostels of its own. So they advised students to travel on daily basis from their home to college and back.

External Expense : Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna :

Yes, seniors and alumni are helpful. Even after getting passed out they used to come and help in organizing different events for the college, collecting sponsors for bigger events etc. Seniors always helped in the same also for how to study and what to study and from where to study from.

Admission :

I gave an entrance examination of ggsipu named as CET and got through. According to my rank I was first allotted this (HMR INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY AND MANAGEMENT) college and after registering myself in that college I was allotted electronics and communication engineering branch.

Faculty :

The faculties are average rated from my side. The reason behind me rating faculty as average because some teachers are truly devoted and some need to be reminded. But overall I would say that it's average. They also conduct different activities in order to boost a student's confidence.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is beyond my expectation.i choose environmental engineering for tackles real world problem and work for right solution but after some time I realised course curriculum is all about small problem that every one know . One year passes here and I didn't get any knowledge that i applied to real world problems and people after passing this course they didn't get to environmental problems but eventually they get non tech jobs and the whole environmental engineering course curriculum aren't relevant to them

Genuine review of mait

Placement Experience:

There are mass recruiter company coming to my college and some big shot company like de shaw, Infosys zs associates which hire most of the students and but most of the placement are happening outside of college though cold e-mail, alumini network. There is very small no. So students which are getting placed in college like out of 10 only 1 is getting placed. I plan to get job as that way I am studying

Reality of IIIT Delhi (is it really a hell hole)

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placement in 3rd year. There were around 150-200 offers made, companies visited were meesho, Uniqlo etc The avg package is around 15 lpa and highest package is 49 lpa.

The best social life college from IPU

Placement Experience:

My college

Admission:

You can get admission in our college by giving joint entrance examinations (JEE MAINS). Once the result is declared the univery will release it cutt off for various colleges and respective courses. If your marks satisfied the cutt off you can get admission. The whole process is online which includes 1. Filling of online counselling form 2. Release of counselling dates 3. Declaration of 1st round counselling result. 4. Again the 2nd and 3rd point will repeat till 3rd round of counselling ends. 5. After the 3rd round is over a sliding round is held which is like a 4th round counselling. 6. At the end spot round counselling is done which also accordingly to the rank and depends on the number of vacant seat in college. Note. ( Once you get a college in any subsequent round it become necessary for you to pay the token money (40k) which will be deducted from your fee otherwise you will not be eligible for the next round expect spot. However of doesn't got seat in the round you didn't need to pay the money)

Placement Experience:

Yes the college do provide high placement for cs, it student and then comes the ece student The highest package offer here is from Amazon to 5 students from it cs and ece batch in 2018. It all depends on your caliber since it is a 3rd tier college.
