Remarks :
Overall the college is good as it is affilated to GGSIPU and have good placement for CS/IT. I recommend you this college only if you are taking admission in CS /IT/ECE. There is less placement and opportunities for other branches. But if you are left with no choice go for it. As there is chance to upgrade to higher branches after first year.
Entrance Preview :
Admission to GGSIPU is from A common Enterance Test (IPU-CET) Conducted by University. I got 15394 rank in my CET and wanted CSE branch. So i got this college at this rank for CSE. When I started studying here i felt good as the teacher here har very friendly and co-operative. College also conducts various tech events and activities to encourage students to come forward and showcase their skills. I think it is worth taking the admission into this college.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum of HMR is as issued by GGSIPU for al its affiliated colleges. The curriculum is comparatively more than other universities. But it is helpful for students studying. And can easily expect 70% if concentrated and studied the class notes.
Internships Opportunities :
I heard that after 2nd year the college provide internship in various companies like Microsoft, issac labs, etc. Their is also a international training program which provides an opportunity to go abroad and intern there.
Placement Experience :
Placement in my college is quite good. As i come to know highest package offered is 15lakhs/annum. And every year the number of students getting place increases. In 2016 it got an award for 100% placement. This year also 3-4 MAE students got place with a package of 10lakh/annum and 90% CSE/IT got placed. So according to the report i think place ment is good of this college.
College Events :
HMRITM conducts various tech event and cultural event as the other colleges. The tech event contains various technical related competitions like tech-quiz, project exbition, technical paper presentation, etc. Cultural fest is also organised fairly. Many students participates in these events and also from other colleges.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
The fee structure of the college is average it is around 1 lakh/ 2 semester. During admission the partial amount is to be paid to the university (during counselling process) and rest to the college. College also provide the bus transport facilities for the student which goes around the whole delhi. The fees of the bus service is 25000/year, which is quite good for the students living more than 20KM from the college.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
My college does not provide any loan to the students. But the scholarships with trophies and certificate are given to the academic toppers of every batch every year.
Campus Life :
Campus life is quite good, but the problem with this college is its location. My college is located at the farms of Hameed pur, but the management has provided bus service to overcome this problem. There is nothing nearby to hangout and chill, but have a great greenry all around. Students often goes to nearby dhaba and stall to hangout. The sex ratio of the college is about 1:3 as in every engineering college. The infrastructure of the quite good. It has well maintained labs with friendly lab assistants. All the computer labs are divided acc to OS and are fully air-conditioned.
Hostel Facilities :
My college does not provide the hostel and mess facilities. But the canteen of the college is excellent. You will find variety of food here at reasonable rates. The quality and quantity of the food items is also good. canteen us opened full day of the college. They also accept payments from e-wallet which is a good step towards the cashless india.
Alumni/Alumna :
The seniors of my college are very friendly they are always ready to help us and also gives us chance to work and learn with them. I don't know much about the alumni and their networks.
Exam Structure :
In every semester, two exams are conducted (internal & external). Internal exam is held of 30 marks in the college only, while the external exam is conducted at different college of the university which is of 75 marks. The external exam is conducted and evaluated by the university. The college also coduct the practical exam for some subjects which is out of 100 and seen in the overall result.
Admission :
Admission through any college of GGSIPU is through an online councelling conducted by university after the declaration of CET result. After the registeration for the councelling, the student has to fill the preference form in which it decides which college and branch is your preference. Then the university releases the cut off rank of various college according to which a college is assign to you. This process continues till round 3. If you want the assign college, you can freeze your seat and take admission on the decided date into the respective college. There is also a Spot round in which all the vacant seats are filled and the college is assign to you on the spot.
Faculty :
The faculty of my college are excellent, they provide a perfect atmosphere to learn and make the concept easy to understand. They are very helpful and supportive and supports in everything. Some faculty also have international contacts which can help you in internships and getting projects. Faculty are capable of completing the syllabus on time and provide sufficient notes for studies.
