Remarks :

NLU is one of the Best Law Colleges in India. The University provides instruction through lectures, seminars, and tutorials. If you want to be a successful Lawyer, then National Law University is the one for you. The University has the advantage of inviting sitting and retired judges from the Supreme Court and the High Court, leading lawyers, etc.for lectures. So, so far hands down, this is the best University for the students pursuing Law’s studies.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I am currently pursuing the LL.M Programme. The LL.M course structure is of a mandatory paper, optional papers, and dissertation. National University, Delhi offers students enrolled in the LL.M program, the option of specializing in one amongst the various streams. Study material is distributed to us and also the University involves the students in research projects to understand the role of Law in society.

Placement Experience :

The placement and job opportunities are awesome, which is like nearly 100% placement. So this is a big advantage of studying at National Law University.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

My program fee is a lot, it is around INR 1,85,000 in a year including the Hostel fees as well. But the fees are quite reasonable in some other way as the institution is as I have said, one of the best institutions.

Campus Life :

We had sports events, which were very fun and exciting and I got to meet a lot of new people. We also have extracurricular activities that are not my cup of tea at all like debates, Literary fest, and quiz. And also the best event of all is the cultural events

Admission :

I am pursuing an LL.M.(Master of Laws) program from National Law University. All candidates should appear for the All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) for admission. The detailed notification for the AILET was published in leading national papers and on the University website. I passed the eligibility criteria luckily with the help of the ST quota and I have also scored more than 55% and above in my LL.B course. So that is how I got the admission and got to study in this Law University.

Faculty :

The faculties of the NLUD are the best faculties ever. They are highly qualified and very professional in their way of teaching. They are all respectable professors.

Placement Experience:

National Law University (NLU), Delhi is the only university in NLU that provides good placement offers and not only placement offers but the university opens the doors of various opportunities for lawyers. For the 2019 batch in which I belong the college was able to maintain the offer package of 15 LPA which is in term was the highest in 2019 for our university and the average salary offer was around 7 LPA. Trilegal, OYO, Steel Authority of India Limited, Khaitan & Co., etc are the names of the few companies and firms that took part in the college placement drive.

Remarks:

Our institute was the first government school in Delhi and also it is the first university law school established in the vicinity of the Supreme court, Delhi high court and various subordinate courts commissions and tribunals. It is also rated in the top 5 law colleges in Delhi NCR.

Admission:

Something that made me choose this course over others because this course helps in gaining a complete grasp of laws related to financial and commercial operations of a company. For taking admission i had given common law admission test conducted by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. The college selected me on the basis of merit list prepared of CLAT exam

Admission:

Admission and selection of candidates in LLM course in National Law University, New Delhi is based on the All India Law Entrance Test Score. The Examination is conducted in different cities for which the application form has to be filled and submitted online on the official website of the college. It is a one year degree program and the minimum eligibility criteria to apply and get admitted to the LLM course is a degree in LLB or equivalent with minimum 55% marks in aggregate.

Campus Life:

National law University is not only known for its strong academic background but for its extracurricular activities too. The auditorium of the University is comparable to a mediocre movie theater. Lots of seminars are organised on varying contemporary legal topics from time to time. Associates and delegates from leading firms are invited to throw some light and for providing insight into the field and answering students' questions. Weekly movie screenings, occasional parties, internal sports tournaments, etc keep the students engaged and stress- free. The common room and gym area of the campus is amazing. The only thing that dissapoints the students about the university is the lack of sporting facilities. There is only one ground where students have to compromise with basketball, volleyball, and football. Badminton courts are uncovered.

I did a one year LLM post graduation course in Human Rights from the Noida campus. I am an admirer of law and always wanted to use my understanding of law for the benefit of humanity and people. My overall experience with Amity was awesome. The management will constantly push you towards doing something new and help you with the projects.
