Remarks :
A decent college. This is much below the rage of Tamil nadu's top colleges like psg, VIT etc but it is a good college in the locality. It is the first private engineering college in the pondicherry union territory.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The college follows pondicherry university's syllabus which is almost similar to Anna University and other top universities. I personally have a opinion that overall education syllabus have to be updated in our country.
Placement Experience :
If you are expecting placement at core companies with decent package, don't expect it from this college. This college has decent placement record but recently no placement on core companies. All u can expect is bpo & marketing job with low pay scale.
College Events :
Our college stopped celebrating annual day every year. Industrial visit is a part of the syllabus and hence u can expect minimum one industrial visit from the college. They occasionally conduct seminars and symposiums.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
It's not an expensive college. Tutuion fee per year when I studied was rs 29,000 which is not too expensive when compared with similar colleges in bigger cities. Bus fee per year is RS 6,000 from thirunallar to college which is almost 15 km.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I have availed perumthalaivar kamarajar financial assistance which is provided by government of pondicherry. This scheme will provide Rs 25,000 if you don't have standing arrear at the end of the accedemic year.
Campus Life :
Physical education is a part of a syllabus hence u can expect weekly once PET class in once semester. Other than that there is no scope for sports. Laboratories gives what the syllabus require. Other than syllabus, there is no other scopes.
Alumni/Alumna :
The official alumini network is just for the name sake. There is no much involvement of official alumini network. We have unofficial alumini groups in social networks like Facebook and WhatsApp. There is no official FB page for this college.
Admission :
Applies for pondicherry university's centac with the 12 the mark. I was called for councelling and seats are filled on the basis of cut off mark. There will be three or four phase of counselling depending on the no of seats.
Faculty :
The college has a decent faculty team which is a mixture of youngsters and experience. U cannot expect all the faculties to be good. But ceternaily few faculties are too good for the students who have too much interest.
