Dream college

Remarks :

It is the best medical college of my state. So it's very much crowded and congested. Still I am loving my time here at one of the best and oldest institutions of India. There are many negative aspects, but positives overweight them

Course Curriculum Overview :

Course is very vast. Exam patterns have changed from this year. One final all important university exam will be conducted. There may be some other internal exams as decided by the college authorities.

Placement Experience :

It gives sure placement. And about internship. Fifth year of MBBS is a compulsory internship programme. The stipend is decided by the state government. It's roughly around 20k per month. After internship you have to serve state govt as per an agreement with the state govt.

College Events :

Many events are celebrated. Countless no of seminars and debates events. Talking about occasions ganesh chaturthi , saraswati puja , teacher's day are celebrated. Annual day is celebrated. New year's eve celebration started from this year too.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Totally feasible. The academics fee is 30k per annum. And hostel fee is around 10k per annum. Messing charges depends on the student. Overall it is very much affordable unless you are wasting money on bogus things.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Scholarships are provided by various NGOs as well as state government for socially backward classes, physically challenged students, and economically poor students. And many government as well as corporate banks are eager to provide study loans to students here.

Campus Life :

Every extra curricular activities are promoted here. And there is a good scope to improve and go ahead in those fields too. There are athletic society, journal society, quiz club and art clubs too. Labs are well maintained as MBBS without practical knowledge is of no use.

Alumni/Alumna :

Very helpful. They help the present students in all possible ways. Seniors give advice and motivation during exams. They are always there to help as our elder brothers. The senior junior relationship is very good here.

Admission :

I have to go through one of the toughest entrance exams of India 'NEET'. Then in the counseling process 250 students get admitted here every year. Admission is conducted by means of 2 counseling; one state and one all India.

Faculty :

Most of the faculties are good. But as MBBS is a professional course rudeness comes naturally to them. So the teaching faculties are good in a way. Non teaching staffs are good too. They are very cooperative at times.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My inclination towards the profession came from my father. There should be research opportunities for interested students. There should be more interactive sessions with students and MCQ tests on a regular basis.

Course Curriculum Overview:

MBBS is a vast subject and it's never-ending research prospects influenced me to choose this course. We are taught clinical applications of each and every topic which prepares us as doctors. More audio-visual methods should be included in teaching, such as interactive videos. Part completion tests are held once a month and semester exams every 2-3 months. Difficulty level is high but can be achieved by regular studying.

Placement Experience:

There is nothing called placement in my field that is medical. But the students who pass out from my college gets a salary of around Rs 80000 to Rs 100000 per month. Also, they get posted in top medical colleges of the nation. Even during the internship, our interns' students get an average salary of Rs 20000

Placement Experience:

I am from the medical branch and we are not having something called placements in engineering colleges. The senior students who have completed their mbbs from Kims are getting a monthly salary of around Rs 70000 to 110000 depending on their working states. The college itself gives job to their own students. The interns get an amount of around Rs 25000 per month.

Remarks:

Good atmosphere for academic and extra curricular activities. But yes, curriculum is quite rigorous and mentally strenuous. So if one decides to come here, he/she has to be ready to be able to tolerate extremes of academic pressure.
