Remarks :

Smart enough to get in and smart enough to get out well.Our college is 225years old and no.one college in Tamilnadu.The environment is very nice because variety of trees are available.There is no ragging between students.Seniors and juniors are friendly

Course Curriculum Overview :

The duration of the course is 4 years.There will be 8 semesters.In every semester We have 3 Continuous Assessment Test and one semester examination.Continuous Assessment Test marks are considered as the internal marks.

Placement Experience :

Placement was really good. As our college was one of the most top ranked college , so many good companies like Amazon, Samsung, CTS ,TCS came to our college for campus recruitment every year , in our college placement percentage will be 100% our staff will always make sure , we get a job before we leave the college.

College Events :

Our college has lot of events to celebrate like Agni, Techofes, Kurukshetra and department symposium.Agni is a intra college cultural festival.Techofes is big event lot of events were conducted they screen a movie ,more celebrities will come and lot of students will come from all over Tamilnadu

Fee Structure And Facilities :

In our college, the fee is feasible. because this college is funded by state government.when you come through a merit base, then you have to pay only 8000 rupees as your tuition fee.then hostel fee and mess fee also comparatively very low.We can some scholarship also.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

We have lot of scholarship for different category.Central sector scholarship , Cm scholarship, Bank of Tokyo scholarship.There is one scholarship for sc/St they no need to pay the Tuition fee.we can apply the loan in bank in our college

Campus Life :

We have a Big well equipped ground , we have lot of Students association clubs for doing various activities like NSS,NCC, YRC,NSO, Rotaract,LEO, SQC.All the club are managed by students only, So we have full freedom to do anything.

Alumni/Alumna :

CEG alumni association is very helpful in giving jobs to current students.this network is active in social media and often raise voice about college future.and alumni meeting held every year in our college and discuss issues faced by students.

Admission :

Anna University conducts Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) for undergraduate admissions in engineering and technology programs in Tamil Nadu colleges. We have to attend the the counseling.Based on the cutoff marks we have to choose the college. We must have the high cutoff marks to choose our college.

Faculty :

The College Faculty are highly experienced in their profession. They are very friendly and encouraging. They motivate us to do more. They guide us towards the right path. They are Highly qualified. Most of them have done their phd also.

Average college but a good place to study on your own

Placement Experience:

The campus placements start in the 7th semester. Due to the recession, there is a lot of backlash when it comes to placements. It has been quite poor for the last few years. But it depends on how the student is prepared for the competitive world.

Students who pursuing five and sixth semesters onwards are eligible to attend the placements and internship. Mostly the IT companies are visited frequently and core companies are low. The Highest package is 9LPA. The percentage of college placement is 78 percent. I planned to make higher studies after my degree.

Reality of Veltech

Placement Experience:

Placement is good for the CSE and IT departments. You can't expect placement if you belong to other departments, there is a placement for the other departments but very less. Campus placement starts in 3rd year itself. They have special classes for Aptitude skills and interview preparation GD and necessary preparations for job placement opportunities. 90% of students from CSE and IT get placed. The average package is 7.5 LPA you can expect a minimum of 3.5 LPA. If you are willing to go for higher studies you can contact the international relation office they have good relations with other universities abroad, they have students exchange programs, research scholarships etc if you are not planning to seat in placement. I plan for higher studies and research after my Btech.

Best place ever visited. My Sweet College.

Placement Experience:

The placements in my college is very good and top companies hire students across every branch with a good amount of package. At the end of 3rd year every student is elegible for the placements in college. About 20 to 25 companies visited for campus hiring and approximately 700 offers were given across the college from every branch. 60 percentage of students got placed in the campus hiring program. Highest package is 24 LPA and the aveyis 5LPA. My plan is to get into a good MNC company which is related to Aerospace technology.
