Remarks :

Recently, The IHMC is awarded the 2nd Best Institute for Hotel Management in India. Although, the reputation of the Institute has been flourishing for quite a long time. I did my graduation from the IHMC and it is the best place to do a Hotel management course. The institute has been excelling in terms of academics as well as placements.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Course curriculum consists of modules from various domains of hotel management. This module is designed to introduce students to the organizational structure and various functions of a modern hotel. An internship program of four months was also organised by the institute.

Placement Experience :

Companies like ITC, Lotus environments, Trident Group, Taj Group of hotels, The Oberoi, Hyatt have been visiting the institute on a regular basis, to recruit the students.

College Events :

Many sporting events including the sports day is celebrated in our college. Cultural dance on special festivals are also celebrated periodically, in order to maintain a balance between academics and cultural learning.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fee for my Bachelor of Vocational Studies was 2.4 Lacs. The fee was the only issue I had with the college. They shouldn’t draw such hefty fee, or at least they should start a scholarship plans for batch toppers.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

IHMC offers many scholarships like Samaj Kalyan Vibhag Schemes(for reserved candidates), and many Government scholarships as per their available schemes. Apart from that, the meritorious students, especially the girl child are given separate concession in tuition fee.

Campus Life :

Competitions like Inter-department catering contest made the campus happening. The campus had a very nice infrastructure, including all the necessary facilities for in-house training of the students in a more practical manner. Campus had cafetaria, library, and activity complex along with digital auditorium.

Admission :

Students have to download the application form the official website by paying the application fee. Then the application form and the necessary documents are to be sent to the college via post or you can physically visit the college to submit the form.

Faculty :

Faculty was good. Professors like Mr. Manas Chaudhary, who love their job, literally made the learning fun. They are always ready to help students and they try to teach everything they know. There is a faculty per 30 students.

Placement Experience:

The student gets eligible for placement majorly in last semester of our college. The companies like Hyatt, Mariott, IHG,taj, Oberoi, intercontinental Accor, cruise and airlines etc are the places of our placements. 70 percent students get placement abroad after clearing their interviews.
