Remarks :

Only one thing is the transportation facility. Our college has been 5km away from the town and the frequency of public transport is too low. That's the major negative thing. And there is no negativity in the field of academics.

Course Curriculum Overview :

This Institution follows the rules and regulations of Anna University. And our college is an Autonomous Institution affiliated with Anna University. The Semester pattern of exams is conducted in our college.

Placement Experience :

Our college has been visited by many of the companies and they were hiring the students who shatter their eligibility levels. The salary package starts from 3 Lakh per annum to 20 lakh per annum according to the companies and the student's intelligence.

College Events :

Our college celebrates many of the events in a year. There are 5 departments in our college Each department conducts two symposiums in a year at the odd and even semesters respectively. In addition to that Sports, meet is celebrated in a very grand manner. Clubs like Leo, Rotract, Muthamizh mandtam, and fresher's clubs conducted many more events throughout the year.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Our college is a government institution so it follows the rules and regulations of the AICTE Fee Structure. There will be a fee waiver scheme for the economically backward people and the SC/ST Peoples. The College fee is around 10K per annum excluding hostel and accommodation charges.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Our college offers the scholarship given by our Government of Tamilnadu and all other governmental and non-governmental organizations. The college will provide you with the fee structure and student details for the education loan. In this way, the students can meet their financial needs.

Campus Life :

Our college gives importance to studies as well as to the other co-curricular activities. Our college students were participated and got rewarded in various sports. The Laboratories are well equipped with modern equipment.

Hostel Facilities :

Like All the Government College Hostels Our college hostel have also a moderate level of satisfaction. However, the food is better when compared to other Government institutions. The Hostel is well constructed but lacks maintenance. The hostel environment is quite peaceful and eco-friendly.

External Expense : Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna :

Yes. The alumni of our institution help the students to get placement and in the placement training activities. They also support financially for those who needed it and those who were talented. They help us to learn beyond the syllabus and to explore new ideas and to implement them in daily life.

Admission :

After finishing the Higher secondary exams I have applied for the TNEA engineering counseling conducted by Anna University and it is now conducted by DOTA due to some issues. Under the TNEA Rank list, I have been allotted in this college.

Faculty :

The Faculty members in our college were technically sound-minded and taught us in a well and very easy manner. Their guidance and experience help us to score higher grades as well as to learn new ideas and concepts. It's blessed to have such faculty members.

Average college but a good place to study on your own

Placement Experience:

The campus placements start in the 7th semester. Due to the recession, there is a lot of backlash when it comes to placements. It has been quite poor for the last few years. But it depends on how the student is prepared for the competitive world.

Placement Experience:

Students who pursuing five and sixth semesters onwards are eligible to attend the placements and internship. Mostly the IT companies are visited frequently and core companies are low. The Highest package is 9LPA. The percentage of college placement is 78 percent. I planned to make higher studies after my degree.

Reality of Veltech

Placement Experience:

Placement is good for the CSE and IT departments. You can't expect placement if you belong to other departments, there is a placement for the other departments but very less. Campus placement starts in 3rd year itself. They have special classes for Aptitude skills and interview preparation GD and necessary preparations for job placement opportunities. 90% of students from CSE and IT get placed. The average package is 7.5 LPA you can expect a minimum of 3.5 LPA. If you are willing to go for higher studies you can contact the international relation office they have good relations with other universities abroad, they have students exchange programs, research scholarships etc if you are not planning to seat in placement. I plan for higher studies and research after my Btech.

Best place ever visited. My Sweet College.

Placement Experience:

The placements in my college is very good and top companies hire students across every branch with a good amount of package. At the end of 3rd year every student is elegible for the placements in college. About 20 to 25 companies visited for campus hiring and approximately 700 offers were given across the college from every branch. 60 percentage of students got placed in the campus hiring program. Highest package is 24 LPA and the aveyis 5LPA. My plan is to get into a good MNC company which is related to Aerospace technology.
