MICA, also known as Mudra Institute of Communications, Ahmedabad, offers its flagship Post Graduate Diploma in Management - Communications (PGDM-C) program. Admission to the program is a two-step process consisting of the following:

  1. MICAT: MICA Admission Test
  2. GE & PI: Group Exercise and Personal Interview

To receive a GE & PI call from MICA, you need to secure a minimum qualifying score in MICAT. The cutoff score for MICAT varies every year, and it depends on various factors such as the number of applicants, the difficulty level of the exam, and the available seats. However, based on the previous years' cut-off, you can expect the minimum score required to get a GE & PI call from MICA to be around 45-50 marks out of 105 marks.

It's important to note that getting a GE & PI call doesn't guarantee admission to the program. The final selection is based on your overall performance in the MICAT, GE, and PI, along with your academic record, work experience, and extracurricular activities. Therefore, it's advisable to prepare well for the exam and give your best in the selection process to increase your chances of getting admission to the program.

MICA admission process has not yet revealed their eligible cut off for the GD/PI but it leaves the applicants to assume and prepare themselves accordingly.

The descriptive section marks are not known to the candidates. However, for the second round, along with the verbal and current affairs section, the descriptive section is also considered for the application to process further.

It is fair to say that MICA not only cares about your score but your performance in the descriptive section too. MICA doesn’t necessarily disclose the scores of candidates every year too. Hence figuring out the cutoff for eligibility is not as easy as it sounds.

Every year the candidates who get selected for the final round (GD & PI) have no idea what was their overall score even after they have finished the graduation. The only certain and known to all information is that along with the psychometric qualifier, you need to perform equally well in the descriptive section too.
