Rather than answering your question directly, I will answer in such a way that will help you answer it yourself in the best possible way. It’s always best to make your decision in your own. Others can only guide you, the ultimate decision should be made by you. MSc is a degree that opens 3 opportunities, 

• Higher studies like a PhD
• Placement in a private university as a faculty through the IIT campus placement
• Joining a coaching Institute.

Higher Studies: For this, the primary step is to go through the course structures of both the IITs and look at the faculty list and their respective research areas. See if their areas of research align with your interest. Some advanced courses will be introduced which might vary from IIT to IIT. So analyzing the people and course structures is way more important than just choosing the institute.

Placement: Unfortunately, MSc has very limited placement options and chances of landing a good job are bleak even if you are from an active old IIT.

Joining a coaching institute should be your last option.

Both IIT Mandi and IIIT Delhi are excellent institutions with well-established programs in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science respectively. The decision of which one to attend should depend on your personal preferences and academic goals rather than the quality of the branch. IIT Mandi is known for its strong emphasis on research, while IIIT Delhi is known for its focus on applied technology.

Both colleges give an edge to each other in terms of placements and quality of education offered. If you aren’t certain of your preference yet, it's best to go for IIT Mandi. There are 2 main reasons why I prefer IIT Mandi to IIIT Delhi.

• Firstly, one can never underestimate the value of the IIT tag. It’s like attaching yourself to a branch for the rest of your life. 
• Secondly, IIT Mandi is well known for its lenient branch change. This helps you explore multiple branches in the first year and then finalize the most preferred branch in the second year. It’s a win-win situation in either case.

However, solely relying on branch change is not wise and you should analyze other angles also.

These three colleges are reputed institutions in India. When we are comparing these three, the best option would be IIT Mandi, it has many distinctive features that other institutes lack.

1. IIT Mandi is spread across 520 meters and has an eco-friendly campus. They give the students an opportunity to get more involved with nature. 
2. IIT Mandi is well known for their coding culture, placement support, and research opportunities. IIT Dhanbad is good at student-faculty relationships. 
3. The standout feature available at IIT Mandi is their branch change policy. You will be given the option to change your branch after your first year. If you want to switch to CSE Branch, it can be fulfilled easily using this policy

If you secure a seat in EE at IIT Mandi, you will get eminent support from renowned scholars for your research and higher studies. The EE branch also provides grand placement support to the students. 

The electrical branch of IIT Dhanbad is really weak. When it comes to the ME or CE branch at Mandi, the scholars will help you reach out to foreign universities for your higher studies, but the placement support is comparatively low in this branch. So IIT Dhanbad is better for the ME or CE branch. If you are interested in the fields of biotechnology or engineering physics, IIT Mandi does not have good faculty support.

So, you can select IIT Mandi if you are interested in the CSE field, the EE field, the best campus life, or the branch-changing policy.

Rather than comparing both programs, I am just going to talk about why I think IIT Mandi is an excellent choice for you

• You cannot doubt the parity of the professors at IIT Mandi when the director himself is from a CSE background.
• The flexible curriculum of IIT Mandi offers a plethora of interdisciplinary subjects to choose from in addition to the core courses. 
• IIT Mandi CSE placements are good with 83 out of 84 students being placed this year. 
• This year, IIT Mandi's highest package was recorded at INR 60 LPA while the average stood at INR 25.23 LPA.
• IIT Mandi also offers decent internship opportunities, especially in CSE. Foreign internship offers are also made.
• IIT Mandi has a rich coding culture with the programming Club of IIT Mandi promoting the same. 
• Lastly, the location and scenic ambiance of IIT Mandi campus are cherry on the top.

So without much hesitation, go for IIT Mandi!

Although both programs are offered by prestigious institutes, I prefer CSE at MNIT to electrical at IIT Mandi. Considering only the branches it’s not a brainer that CSE offers much better placement opportunities than Electrical. I am not saying IIT Mandi placements are not good, it's just that they cannot be compared to MNNIT CSE placements. 

I would suggest that you go for CSE at MNNIT rather than Electrical at IIT Mandi. Yes, you will miss the much coveted IIT tag but trading it with an NIT tag, better college life, and excellent placement opportunities is not a bad deal right? The moment you sit for placements and start receiving excellent packages in contrast to your counterpart electricals, you will realize how wise your decision to choose CSE was.

IIT Mandi is better for placement support, especially in the CSE branch than MNNIT Allahabad. The students opt for IIT Mandi largely due to their attractive branch change policy. You will get a chance for a branch change after your first-year completion. 

CSE opens a wide array of opportunities since it is a broad area. Many giant companies offers high-salary jobs to students from IIT Mandi. About 98% of students were placed in big companies. IIT Mandi is the best option when you are concerned with placement support. They also offer good classes and a resourceful campus life to the students.
