The total IIT Roorkee fees for 4 year BTech course is INR 11.64 lakhs. SC and ST students do not have to pay the tuition fee for BTech courses at IIT Roorkee. A fee waiver is also available for students belonging to EWS sections.

IIT Roorkee was established in 1847 and was known as the College of Civil Engineering. It was founded by James Thomason who was the then Lieutenant-Governor of the North-Western Provinces. • The major categories that are included in this fest are Robotics, Sky High, Algo Arena, Business and Finance, Cogitation Summit, Department-based Research Paper Presentation, Off the Cuff, and Gaming. 
• The fest has many events like technical workshops, talks, competitions and exhibitions.
